Hello lovelies
Very late one from me. The date was short and sweet to be honest - nice chap but a lot of baggage, very negative, just didn’t feel right. Also made me realise I’m quite fine on my own still. I texted Kaz when I left, thank you for updating everyone lovely xx
Since then I’ve played taxi to a friend who was out at a party - pre arranged, no taxis in our area and she is really kind so I wanted to help her out. Lots of rather drunk people there!Long long list written for tomorrow. Alarm set for 5.30am, I have a full day without the children so need to fly properly.
sleep well all xz7 -

morning all
fine, breezy day forecast so the WM x 3 will be out on the line. Currently i’m lying in bed with the window ope n enjoying the gentle breeze and sunshine. Went to a friends for dinner last night. I had to ask whether the invitation was in the Southern or Northern sense 🤣 As it was Southern it worked out well. DD has collected my next meds.
We’ve got a leaky flat roof at work and water seems to be getting in and tripping the electrics…I have been schmoozing a roofer …a freebie would be awesome and i have made lavish promises to mention his firm on social media. I have no shame when it comes to begging 🤣
See some of you tomorrow! *tremble*Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear5 -
Morning all.
Glad the decision on your date was an easy one, ASB - fun while it lasted, but no regrets. Keep up the good work!Valli said:I have no shame when it comes to begging 🤣
See some of you tomorrow! *tremble*re the roofer! No need to tremble - I have met one of the gang on a previous Flymeet and can give her a glowing reference
Off to make a few phonecalls, deal with WMx1, do some baking, and pack my bag for tomorrow. It will be a cold collation for lunch, and nothing needs cooking tonight apart from plain boiled rice, as we're having an Indian takeaway, courtesy of DS1Rosie loves boiled rice as a topper on her dry food, so she'll be happy too.
Have a great weekend, everyone xxx

Morning all xx
My emergency dash to an 'unresponsive ' P on Good Friday finished me off. He wasn't. Unresponsive that is. But I didn't know that until I got there. I came home feeling very discombobulated and at odds with everyone and everything. I then had to do a lot of peopling on Easter Saturday, so I gave myself some time out on Easter Sunday and Monday. I knitted, read, and watched telly. And just was.
Back to work on Tuesday and it's been vile. My work bestie left on Wednesday and that acted as a catalyst to a lot of festering 💩 being thrown at the proverbial fan. I'm expecting next week to be vile too. Senior management are now involved. The behaviour of certain staff, including the supervisor, doesn't come up to standard. Whether anything will now change I don't know..... I've got enough on my plate not strangling the whinger who has moved back into my office. Now I know how much pleasanter it can be with the right colleague alongside, I cba nannying a whinger. Stop the world 🌎.....so there you are. Welcome to.my world. I bet you liked it better when I was AWOL. 🥴
The only flying I've done all week is make the bed, feed the birds and put out the recycling. Today I've opened windows in the bathroom and my bedroom, made my bed, sploshed bleach down the loo, brought down the laundry hamper, sorted washing into loads, set first load swishing. (It'll be the only load load as it was my last wash pod! Totally out of kilter here).
And I'm dressed.
So I can now feed the birds and put out the rubbish and recycling without frightening the neighbours' children.
Thank you to those of you who reached out to me in my grizzly bear's lair. Thank you to those who missed me.
I've caught up with the thread since I last posted. You are all busy bees. Hugs to all. Sorry, no spare spoons here. Changing the blasted clocks hasn't helped either. 😕 Yes, I'm tired. Grumpy tired. Being woken up by music at 4.40am AGAIN doesn't help. Quiet music, but music. At 4.40am. Who does that?
Oooo. Defo got my mardy cardy on. Send me nice thoughts to sweeten me up please. I'm fed up with myself now. Coffee might help.
Love to all

(((Hugs))) and spoons are on their way to you, round. I don't blame you for being mardy. Fingers crossed that senior management do something helpful pdq. In the meantime, you just keep feeding the birds and putting out the rubbish - and getting dressed! - every day. Your own MH must be your priority, especially as you seem to be looking after everyone else and nobody seems to be looking after you xx
It's already afternoon and I still haven't started baking. I'm still in my PJs, too! Tut-tut, standards are slipping here.5 -
Nice thoughts coming your way Round.
No need to tremble about tomorrow Valli.
Back from community hall. Going to slob for rest of afternoon.Spend less now, work less later.7
