I don't think today will be a NSD. I need to nip into Aldi after work for groceries, which is budgeted but I also promised my son I would get him sweets for being good, which can't really class as an essential
I got the co-op freezer deal on my way home yesterday. 5 items for a 5er. Battered fish, fish fingers, chips, peas and solero ice creams. These are all things that we eat, so I got 2. It will come from my grocery budget.
I am currently eating yet more leftovers for lunch. I am trying really hard to plan meals around what food needs eating. Tonight we are on ommlettes (eggs) and tomorrow I am making pizzas from leftover wraps. A new recipe so hopefully the kids will eat them
New Quay sounds lovely @MrsCautious!

Declaring one for today.
@MrsCautious, sorry to hear you lost your source of income but I agree, health must come first. That's why I retired early, even though I still had 18 months to go until state pension kicked in. It was a tough 18 months, but I feel better for it and things are looking up now. Enjoy your breakMaking the debt go down and savings go up

20/20 NSD now though :-)
ilovetea xx
@ilovetea what @HotDog2020 said, you don't at all! I haven't been anywhere either. It's actually a superpower, being able to be happy at home (in my opinion - well I would say that but I still think it's true) xx

@MrsCautious @Makingabobor2 is right, health has to come first, but I hope you can sort out the loss of income and find a new source of it without compromising that xx
