Another NSD for me yesterday (Monday)
Don't know about today yet. I'm taking my bike in for it's Spring check, and there's usually something that needs repairing, replacing or tweeking.
Having listened to some of my friends and seen some posts here about the costs associated with running and maintaining a car, it seems like £1000 repair bills are not uncommon.
I consider myself fortunate that even if the bike has major problems (it doesn't!) it's unlikely to cost me more than about £80.

Have been away since Friday, at a beautiful Haven caravan park at New Quay in West Wales, my mum and dad had a caravan there for 25 years and I said I’d take them back for my mum’s birthday, also with my daughters and our lovely little rescue chihuahua. Had the most beautiful weather. Spent money every day, including on fish and chips, Sunday roast, ice creams and bara brith.Saved money on petrol as my daughter drove me there after I got a puncture. Also saved money on not buying any drinks etc at night.I lost my main source of income last week, far too suddenly, so I’m applying for jobs and taking time to think about lots of things. My health has to come first. Heading for a walk and swim later, sending eBay parcels etc.
Off to Wales again this weekend, with my partner to Porthmadog, again, saving on petrol as I’ve persuaded him to drive.
I think spending will be minimal as we will cook for ourselves and make own lunches at least half the time.
I’m still hoping to hit my NSD target, with another 6 days needed. I know I can do it!So after all that waffle, another NSD for me today, which I believe brings me to 13.
thanks all for the inspiration.4
