Can I join too, please?Welcome Home @Toni'sfriend well that was a plot twist wasn't it? Hopefully this month will be more according to script.Today, 1st of April, is the 2nd anniversary of step-gran shuffling off this mortal coil, and I still have a couple of boxes of her things to be rid of. So that is what I will do this month. I have a couple of bags for charity lined up in the hall. This morning I painted a wall navy blue, painted the rest of the room white, and attacked the top landing and stairwell with a bucket of matt white emulsion. DH made lunch, and then I made a bread dough, and a red sauce, and now I have two large pizzas, a loaf of caraway seed bread, a flatish pave style loaf, and a lasagne. So nobody will starve, and I am ahead of myself for tomorrow. This is what being in Bank Holiday Financial Limbo does for a girl!***DONT FORGET TO READ YOUR METERS TODAY *** The energy prices drop today - don't be paying more than you have to. Although that pesky standing charge is rising too. Also if you are on minimum wage CHECK YOUR PAYSLIP because from today the minimum wage rises to £11.44 if you are over 21.Right, off to rescue the pizzas in the ovenEnjoy your bank holiday if you have one, or don't work too hard, if you are at work today.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Certainly was, f0xh0les. Taken by ambulance from our Health Centre with suspected sepsis with only what I was wearing which included my slippers because I couldn't get my shoes on because my feet had swollen. How embarrassing
Hope I wasn't seen by anybody who knows me. But we Turtles don't give up so onwards and upwards. xx

Very proud of myself today as I finally managed to get one over on DH by telling him there was an eagle on our neighbour's roof. I've never seen him move so quickly - not so quickly that I didn't get to pinch and punch him - only gently I hasten to add!9
