Oxford [and Cambridge] were on my to-do list, I enjoyed it and recognised the places seen on TV, not just Morse items, all very touristy but that was what I was

Eight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens

Ooh a bucket list, mine is constantly changing but here are the next few years.
    1. Holiday to Lake Garda (going to book for next May but my husband wants to know the football fixtures for next season first!!!!)
    2. Cruise to Norwegian Fjords. Booked for end of next June (football season over so have booked that one.)
    3. Visit some major European cities  for 4/5 nights off season eg Rome, Berlin.
    4. Holidays to different parts of UK in car with dog.
    5. Start knitting again of an evening.
    6. Learn some very basic Italian, listened to a few YT videos but the words don’t stick in my head
    7. Going to see Hamilton the musical at a theatre, watched it on Disney a couple of years ago and loved it, booked for May 25.
    8. Create a herb garden.
    9. Declutter house and garage and live minimally.

    Bucket list items completed.
    1. Main one - saving enough to retire at age 57.
    2. Moving to a house with woods, beach and restaurants/ bars / shops all within walking distance.
    3. Getting a dog, got a Cavapoo last June and never laughed or discussed poos so much :D
    4. Trip to New York and climbing the stairs into head of Statue of Liberty.
    5. City breaks to Porto and Athens, loved both of them.
    6. Holiday to Disneyworld, done several times now, got the Disney bug.
    7. Ongoing - Member of good local hotel gym so regular visits to weight train and go to sauna etc to improve health.

Holiday to Lake Garda: we did a guided tour by greatrail in the first year of retirement.  Took my parents as well.  London-Simione via Paris and Turin by train.  Overnight stays in Turin at the beginning and end.  They collected and sent our luggage ahead.

Day trips to Venice, Isola del Garda and Verona whilst based in Simione.

    Recommended.

We went to Rome in February, weather was great, we had a lovely time, stayed 3 nights, walked everywhere.i recommend a guided tour for the forum and colosseum. Get your husband to do a lazio stadium tour while there 😀
It's just my opinion and not advice.
