As soon as me and my OH get over our respective colds we've decided to go and give blood, we've often talked about it but never got round to doing it so after reading about Rick tonight it's given us that little push we needed. Fingers crossed here for him x

well he's got through the 6 hours but theres been a complication, rick is back in theatre to remove the pressure on his heart. have been informed that IF he pulls through he will be in hospital for several months.

trying to keep focused but 2 glasses of wine have not helped.... i am close to tears
