£6.24 has arrived in the bank from We Buy Books, added to August's extra income.
Popped to get a headlight replaced while I was out. I hadn't realised there was a Halfords in that town - far more convenient for such errands than the one in the city (which isn't really near anywhere else I go). So that's a job off the list!
Busy week coming up, it'll be a shock after a month off 😱
Monday - in the (new!) office, going to a friend's for tea
Tues - possibly in the office (there's something I'd like to go to, but it's not compulsory), possible local club in evening (just for an hour)
Wed - in the office, but only because I've got a dentist appointment in the afternoon. Got a meeting quite close before it, online, but can't drive AFTER the meeting, so I'll go for the day. Local event, hopefully with Mr C, in the evening.
Thurs - there's a leaving do for several colleagues in the evening. I might work at home during the day though and just go in for the evening, or it'll be a week of early starts!
Friday is mostly free
Saturday we're going to a wedding anniversary party and staying overnight at someone's house
Sunday we'll take our time getting home, then I have a band practice early evening.
And then I might need another month off 😬
Best get some batch cooking done!12 -

Thanks all 😊 Still enjoying my hair! 😂
I nipped out to do Parkrun this morning, but at the last minute Mr C decided he wasn't coming too, and I didn't have enough time to find a parking space AND get to the start line, so I headed off for a little jaunt on the moors instead. Most pleasing. 3 miles done, mostly walked, but it was LOVELY to be up there 🥰
I should definitely do that more often.
Then we've spent a couple of hours doing finalpost-party sorting and tidying, getting extra beds etc back in the loft. Lovely. Now we're off to spend the last of his birthday money before Frugal September 😂15 -
That is a busy week, cheery! Hope all goes to plan 🙂
One thing I really miss about Yorkshire is the beautiful walks and the moors. I took this photo up on the moor near Langsett Reservoir x

Ooh, that's a lovely picture! I don't get to our local reservoirs very often at all, there's one I've never been to! A nice project for the autumn maybe 😊7

We have lots of access to the moors / reservoirs from here, they really are so so low this year. Problem (as a dog walker myself) is they normally have loads of dogs 🤣🤣🤣Sealed pot challenge 822

Just done another Prolific study - ending August with £27.66 cleared and £8.40 pending. Will withdraw the £27.66 and take that as August's total, and the rest can be the start of September10
