4.30am and somehow I'm the last to bed 🙄 mate it now though! Worn out,  but am i worn out enough to sleep through an uncomfortable bed,  a sleeping bag that could be slightly more fresh,  and someone snoring in a tent just outside my (closed) window?? I guess we'll find out! 🙄😂

My goodness I don’t know how you do it, I have never been a night owl but these days 4.30 am is more my getting up time. Hope you had a good night rest

My thoughts exactly - midnight is a very late night for me! I’d have had no patience with people (invited guests or otherwise) keeping me from my bed! Hope you do get some sleep Cheery! (Although I’d also never be mad enough to have a party on the same day as a race! 😂)

Sound like it was all jolly good fun, Cheery ☺️. Hope you are not feeling too faded and run down today after your late night. I am another who much prefers an early morning to a late night these days, but the occasional late night still happens!

4.30 am - far closer to getting up than going to bed in my world.  Glad it was such good fun though.

I did sleep... bit will need to sleep more later 😂 Mr Cheery woke me up, poking around the kitchen in search of snacks at 7.30 🙄 Obviously he went straight back to sleep (it didn't take me long, to be fair, although I've woken up when other people have gone to the loo too).

Sun is shining, sky is blue, and I might try to sneakily get up very quietly so I can have half an hour to myself on the swing before other people start appearing... some folk did go to bed about half 1 though so they might not be long...

Definitely an early night tonight 😂

Normally I might, but we had people sleeping in every other room so I had to wait for my bed to be free (or sleep in the tent 😂 I've just taken it down and I might out it back up again and have a night in it before going back to work 😂)

Most people have gone now, but a couple of people went for a bike ride and are going to stay over again tonight which is lovely 🥰

Omg cheery, sounds like a great night! I had a friend over a few weeks ago, we went out for a meal and then fell asleep on the sofa bed together at 10:30pm, she's mid 40s and I'm 39, so I admire you being able to stay up until 4:30am! 🤣
