Totally agree.

It did bring back memories though of DS at around 12 going to a friends & staying for tea.  Asked if he likes spaghetti - yes of course he does.  Being a very good mannered child he ate it, but mum it was awful.  It still makes me laugh when I think aboout it.  Made me think perhaps I wasn't as much of a domestic disaster as I had always thought myself.

Obviously it's not very nice or i would have eaten it by now 😂😂 so I will try to do something more imaginative with it than just eating it on toast (which i did used to love!)

You can get tinned ravioli here in the supermarkets.  Probably not the same but might be worth a go if you're craving it!  Tesco's do it for 95p a tin.

Ever heard of a Lola? They were forbidden - I think I was the only child in my class who had to drink milk at lunch.  I'm pretty sure the craved for treat was all chemicals, sugar and artificial dye, but the memory of the purple or red one stays with me to this day!

I used to love them on toast! But over the years I think I've built them up into something they're not I checked ,and I have 11 tins in there, out of date at least 4 years ago. So I need to get moving on some innovative recipes (or maybe I'll just leave them all on your doorstep @Jessy103 )

I became veggie when I was 11, and the time chicken and mushroom Pot N00dles weren't veggie and I did love them back then. So when I noticed in my 20s that they now had a green V on them I very excitedly bought one. And barely ate any of it - it tasted horrible 🤣. Our taste buds must change a lot when we grow up.
