I love my bus pass, got to the north of Scotland and back for £1 and that sum was the booking fee.4

Are bus passes valid country wide? Must tell OH that as he's very attached to his car! His pass has been in his wallet since the day he got it!
Wonder if that is true for disability passes as well? I'm getting mine solely so that I can get around the big smoke with a bit more ease as the buses in my small town run for about 1/3 of the day - no way I could get to work by relying on them for the train station as they don't start until I'm already sat at my desk in the city!4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! My mum said today that her bus pass (just standard OAP one) is only valid in England (but presumably if you live in Scotland yours is only valid in Scotland!) But I'm only going on what she said, I have no idea!
Started scything tonight. Want to at least start when new neighbours weren't there as it's in full view of their house 😬 Waited til the car left - but when I turned around at the end all the lights were on so it's quite possible that there's another car round the front 😂 hey ho.4 -
Definitely only valid in England unless issued in Scotland or Wales.

I also think there are time limits on so only after 9.30 am, certainly in some areas & over 65. Although the rules are different in London I believe.3

My mum had to wait til state pension age for the national one (66 for her), but her local area has a local pass from 60. Definitely after 9.30.
Anyway, we worked out if she leaves home at 9.15 she'll get here at 2.45 😂 Well, the local town anyway - if she tried to get to where we actually live she's have to get a hotel to wait for the bus in the morning, and still have to walk 2 miles, which feels a bit mean as it's only a 15 min drive 😂8 -
I got mine at men's retirment age then so 65. I have only used it twice. The problem is the long walk from the bus stop to home. Not a problem going but walking back if I have any shopping is just too much.3

Yes am in Scotland so thats where my pass is valid, got mine aged 60 and I can use it at anytime though not sure about on night buses.4

In Yorkshire we can use on the tram system too and used to be able to use on the train as far as Leeds I think but that may have charged. I am sure my OH did it as we hate parking in Leeds and go by train. Buses after 0930 and qualify at state pension age so 66 at moment

Here in my part of Wales we can use our bus pass on the train between October & March.
