Need a list for tomorrow to get me out of bed... could do with a day at home but Mr C is really struggling with his back and needs distraction so I probably won't get one. Want to get a few home things done though.
* an hour in the garden
* swap computer over
* finances
* order shelves for the downstairs loo (not decorative shelves - it's used as an indoor shed and I'm sick of rummaging through piles of random boxes so I've found a sturdy but compact shelving unit)
* flute practice
* get at least one batch cooked meal in the freezer

Surely the best place for Mr Cheery is at home resting his back?
...and dreaming up convincing arguments for the use of a red bulb?

The advice to rest a poorly back isn’t often given any more - in most cases they are apparently treated better by keeping to gentle movement - even if it doesn’t feel like it!Cheery definitely make sure that in all the looking after everyone else you don’t overlook the fact that you too have had an incredibly stressful few weeks too, and you also need some rest, recuperation and yes indeed, some looking after!I did have a wander in the garden first thing when I got up this morning - stayed out there for just long enough to deal with topping up an empty bird feeder then headed in though as it was FREEZING! Indeed my usual perch for a morning cuppa was covered in frost - I would have got a numb-bum had I tried sitting there! 😂🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Ha, yes, I might not last long in the garden but I'd like to feel like I've made a start in the sunshine!
And yes, gentle movement is indeed the order of the day for Mr C. He's also still quite worried about his dad and needs distraction.
But also yes, I do indeed need some time to myself too! It's hard to fit in though sometimes 🙄 But I am getting in a bit of sewing in the evening making these curtains, so that's something. It's not outside though 😂
Right, for all my talk, the sun is shining and I'm still in bed 🙈 in my defence, I was awake for ages at 4am with period pain 🙄 But it's not there now, so...5 -
EH you need a hammock - it doesn’t get frosty 😊

Freezing here! But the hammock is a good idea... I need to remember to find somewhere to put mine up this year!
