Argh greent I'm almost relieved it's not just me with a pack of tablets I'm working through painfully slowly so as not to waste them in spite of not having enjoying the side effects. In my case it's a particular brand which does un-coated tablets which my stomach doesn't like so on occasion tries to throw straight back up again. I have a note with the pharmacy that I'm not meant to get that brand now - but if stocks are running short there isn't a choice about it!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

I've got a medicines cupboard in the Bathroom with plasters, paracetamol, ibuprofen tabs and gel, tweezers, deep heat, freeze spray. Then a series of ice cream tubs in the kitchen cupboard with more paracetamol, ibuprofen, plasters, plus cold and flu remedies, cough mixtures, diarrhoea and constipation medication, and antihistamines.A big laundry hamper of assorted items that I 'inherited' when I cleared my late mum's house
A big collapsible crate full of 'expired' first aid dressings (because I was a qualifed first aider and we had to keep in date stuff in the first aid kits, but I was happy to use the 'out of date' stuff on my family).
And my own prescription medications in the bottom drawer of my bedside cabinet.
Seeing it written down like this makes me think perhaps I should have a sort out and chuck stuff.
just in case you need to know:

Thank you for the continued medication stories! We are pondering things - but I confess recent events have rather taken over...
First, the cars. Slight logistical palaver averted today when I took big car to the garage (red engine light been on since mid December) and they gave it me back by 12pm because there was nothing bloody wrong with it 🙄 Light wasnt even on while i drove 30 miles to the garage this morning. Booked in next Tuesday to have the heater fixed. Quick sorting meant I had time to drive back home for blood test this afternoon, rather than having to get the bus. Garage didn't charge.
Mr C Snr is still in hospital, and Mr C went over yesterday to visit. Popped to the house at teatime to collect something - and found a cascade of HOT water coming through the ceiling 😱 Ceiling in the bedroom had collapsed, kitchen would have done too, had Mr C Snr not drilled several holes in it during a previous leak about 10-15 years ago 🙄 An inch of water swilling round the floor in all downstairs rooms, clothes (on a rail, not a contained wardrobe) soaked, furniture soaked paperwork on tables etc all ruined, computer and TV wet.
Mr C eventually managed to turn the water off, nice neighbour found a nice emergency plumber, who found the source - many, many years ago a pipe had been capped off near the immersion heater, and the cap had literally just fallen off, so it wasn't a crack, or a small leak, it was effectively just an open pipe pouring out water for goodness knows how long.
Another family member went round with an extra mop, and the standing water is gone, but the place is drenched, and they've obviously had to turn the electrics off (Mr C switched the kitchen light on when he got there before he realised, and it was working, but there was water running down the bulb).
Goodness knows what happens now. I'd put good money on him not having house insurance 😕
Anyway, various wheels are in motion, but I anticipate a lot of messing about and driving in the near future, and he won't be going home any time soon 😕10 -

Oh Cheery - what a palaver indeed. Poor Mr Cheery - Jnr & Snr! What an awful thing to happen. Thank goodness folk rallied round to help out a little. Does sound like Mr Cheery Snr is in the right place at the moment - and I'm sure you're on it like a car bonnet, but make sure the OT/discharge team are aware - he can't be discharged into an unsuitable environment.
