  • I’m assuming it’s the bank I use too, it is not known for its modern technology but definitely for its very clunky systems. I’m with You Cheery but don’t know  if I would have the strength or patience to persist with getting to the bottom of it . Good luck

    Putting my conspiracy theory hat on.  I wonder if it is anything to do with them having to notify the DWP of any interesting transactions.  It is going to apply to a lot more than just the universal credit & pension credit they say it is.  It has already gone up from 3 to 5 benefits.  Obviously child benefit will crop up eventually as there is a limit on that.  Just think how many claim child benefit.
