I know! It's just a quick one - Mr C's sister is at the tail end of a caravan holiday and has invited us to make use of their spare room tonight, and we all have to leave at 10am tomorrow 😂 but then we can have a leisurely breakfast and a paddle and an ice cream 😁6

Brr, well we are soggy and blustered about by the wind, and slightly grumpy, and recombobulating in yet another cafe on the way home. This one just as a view of the car park, but the one earlier had a Most Excellent view across the sea
Had a final message from the bank, with a satisfactory explanation of their security policies and why our messages were being shared. Still not convinced about why Mr C's account currently had a standing order go into it but whatever, going to take our £17.50 interest and run. It's possible I've got the date wrong and what's gone in was the FIRST standing order payment a year ago. Who knows.
September's prolific money now happily in the bank, and I've claimed £1.98 from TCB, from paying for our spa day voucher.
Still no luck finding a suitable free app we can share for the everyday budget. While we continue to look we're going to keep on with last month's physical cash book. We've had a quick look round for a pocket sized one today, like I used to use in the old MSE days. £3.49!! In two separate places! I don't think so 🙄 I'll see what I've got at home, and if nothing suitable, will find a small, flexible, cheap notebook and draw lines in it.
(I realise I literally just spent more than £3.49 on a coffee, I do know that 😬😂)7 -
