Ha, well I'm glad to have been of service 😂😂 I have to confess I personally have found cows easier to remove from the garden the sheep 😂😂 Partly because the cows are usually from our fields, so I know where to remove them to, and they know when they're meant to be going 😂😂

So. Ihave requested extra tablets from the docs - they've sent it to the emergency prescription doc and I have to ring tomorrow to see what they're doing (top up, or just releasing my new prescription early). Collected strimmer, nice new line head for £51 in total (which considering the strimmer was £200 isn't too bad). 

Off to get milk and do a bit more work!

@Cheery_Daff - agreed, sheep are little (and not so little) buggers! - many a time when we lived on the farm that I'd loose a pair of tights trying in vain to get them out of the yard and back into the field!  The joys of chasing sheep while still in a work suit (skirt not trousers) is under-rated!

I have in o recent times had sheep.
They are escape artists beyond anything one can imagine.  They do not escape at a convenient time, 6 pm while dinner is cooking but whilst one is in the bath and there is a hammering at the door or at 10.00 am about to start an important meeting.   They refuse to be "caught" and need to be rugby tackled to the ground and are very feisty (I left the rugby tackling to a neighbour who was sweet enough to help a few times)
A farmer can check the perimeter and assure Watty they will not escape only for him to drive off and 5 mins later they are walking down the road past the office window.
The preferred escape destination is not a garden with a lovely person like Cheery who will help with round up but to the field owned by the most cussed farmer know to man who hates everyone and everything (cue yet another phone call from him grumping).

I'm sorry to all the vegetarians out there, but, if one did not eat lamb no one would keep sheep. Cows are far preferable!

Oh dear, sorry you have all had farm animals woes too 😂 I will always help with rounding up if I can (especially if the reason for escape is technically my fence, and the casualties are my veg 😂)

Speaking of which, all my rainbow chard, gone 🙄 Who knew cows were even a fan? Officially giving up on veg growing for this year.


Still, they've also eaten some of the long grass I was planning to strim, so I probably shouldn't complain 🙄😂

Struggling today, not sure why. Mr C was away last night but I slept well - didn't wake up til 9am though 😮 and didn't get out of bed til nearly 12 😬 Just cannot get myself going, would very happily go back to bed. Meant to be at work but there doesn't seem much point now - I did book a day off this week but was planning on working through and taking it in Sept, but maybe I should just admit defeat 😬

Anyway, I have at least hoovered the floor, sent an email I'd been putting off, and am attempting to rid the kitchen of two large and annoying flies, so that's something, right?? Oh, and booked to see a show neighbour's daughter is in tonight.

I have felt very low energy today and would quite happily have gone back to bed this morning, so I think you've done the sensible thing by giving in to it. I am still exhausted - even though I slept quite well!

I gave in and relocated to a cafe about 3pm, and got a surprising amount of work done 😂 as I was leaving, Mr C rang to say he was nearly back so we've met in town and we're going straight to the show. Nice to be out on a Tuesday evening!

Thanks @Baileys_Babe The kids were great - it was rather beset by difficulties with the sound which was a shame - whoever was in charge kept not turning people's microphones up at the right time, so half the dialogue and some of the songs were really quiet 🙄 but the kids were very professional and we had a good time. Neighbour's kid was great, and I bumped into someone else I knew too 😊 No snacks or drinks bought (but we did pay £32 for tickets - realised too late that Mr C would have qualified for a £2 senior discount!)

Frustration this morning, trying to print something off in Rymans. We do have a printer at home, but this needed to be more professional looking (that prints a kind of double font sometimes). Saved on memory stick, but on their computer it appeared a different font- ludicrous and twirly italics 🙄 Woman insisted their computer didn't change anything, this was how it appeared on MY computer. Fortunately I had my computer with me, and was able to demonstrate it wasn't 🙄

I changed the font, it appeared right on theirs this time. I'd just started to ask how much it would cost (so I could decide between colour/black and white) when I realised she'd already pressed print! 

Anyway, upshot is i have a 25 page document, single sided, full colour (even though there's barely any colour in it) that cost me £9.50 😡 £9.50!! I absolutely would have said no if I'd have known that was the cost (or at least gone b&w).

Anyway, because I am feeble I paid up and left but won't be using them again. Would have been cheaper to drive to work, pay to park all day (it's a work doc, I just need to post a physical copy to someone).

Most annoying, but it's done now!

In better news, doc approved my prescription so I now have a good supply of tablets again 😊

How frustrating about the printing - that's an outrageous price for something you didn't need.
