Bath is sealed 😃 and looks, as predicted, utterly ridiculous 😂😂 Mr C says it looks like it should be in a children's hospital 😂 I agree it's ridiculous, but at least it'll stop the water going down the side of the bath when I have a shower, and maybe be an incentive to start thinking about redecorating, which it sorely needs (look at the state of the tiles for a start, and don't get me started on the carpet 😂)
Anyway, if we can't bear it, we can rip it off next week and replace it with white.

Ha, thank you all. What's made me laugh this weekend is that none of our visitors mentioned it at all 😂😂 we had four people here for 24 hours and nobody said anything 😂😂 clearly they just think it's perfectly normal 😂
Just had an email from the LPG company, which is good because it means we don't have to ring them. They've accepted they haven't dealt with things very well, and have reduced the cost by £300 (to about £570). Still no response to my question about whether the work was legally necessary in the first place...
Bizarrely, they said they'll refund me the £300. I've not actually paid them anything yet so it will be interesting to see whether they do!
Going to wait til Mr C's home and we can discuss properly. If they'd charged this in the first place I wouldn't have quibbles, but now I've started digging I'm convinced they've tried to sell something as mandatory that actually isn't. Hmm.
In other news, I see the Gardeners World magazine with 2 for 1 garden entry is out now. It's expensive (it was £9.50 last year so I imagine is more now) but it paid for itself for me with one trip to an expensive garden. There are usually discounts if you go alone too.
So, a plan for today - I'm already in town so a few errands first...
* pick up magazine
* garden waste and bottles to the tip
* DIY shop for compost and shelf wood
* lunch (still hoovering up leftovers from the weekend)
* party invitations! 😃
* spend a couple of hours doing draft of promotions application. I've got a job application from just before Christmas in a similar format so I'm not starting from scratch
* send a few emails relating to that
* tidy up some of the debris after the weekend (blankets, garden chairs etc)
* clothes away in bedroom
* garden planning - I dug out all the seeds today and there are FAR too many of them
* exercise video
* book event for Wednesday
* book 1st aid training
That'll do. I'd like to spend a bit of time lounging on the sofa too but I think that list is probably going to take me about 24 hours so maybe not 😂8
