Afternoon all! We'll were back! Had a lovely day & just back. Weather has been lovely and sunny so we left early and arrived at about 11 then has a nice cuppa, shopping, looked at the catherdral, had lunch overlooking the rver & sitting outside which was very restful & a real treat! Mum got me a bargain running book & pair of shoes so been a NSD for me! Then went for the interview which lasted about an hour; odd being filmed and talking about who you are/what you like etc and makes you realise how much you do! All in all an enjoyable day! Hope you're all ok?!!

    hi ISOM
    today i have mainly been:
stitching 72 hearts onto cards with wire, printed and added the 'wedding invitation' banners, printed out the inserts for the main invitations, the RSVP/Chose your menu please cards, and finally the tags for the favours.
I have also managed to get the hang of my guillotine which has saved me lots of work. Good job i didn't give it away when i thought i'd wasted my pennies. I had a couple of false starts but i still love everything i've designed. I'll send photo's when i've got it all sorted. Need to re-find the poem about seeds to make the sleeve for the seeds envelope/place card. It was on here somewhere so shall go and investigate.

i did start at tea time last night and have done nothing else, well cept hang out washing, and eat occasionally. I didn't even get out of my dressing gown today, which is terrible but sometimes it's good to just not have to bother, and meant i could play with the printing stuff and the cards. I've been having a mini panic that i just won't get the stationery done in time, even though it's just under 6 months till the day, so really wanted to weekend to get a wriggle on. Plus i've found a poem i'd like to chart and stitch for OH as a wedding pressy and the sooner i start it the better. Just need to sort out some charting software from somewhere

Morning all! Well had a good nights sleep & now trying to enjoy my last day off befre work tomorrow! Mum going in a bit so will the clean & tidy in readyess for normality! Just had a blissful, but tearful, hour in bed with tea finshing "A thousand splendid suns" which is next months book group book. Not one I woul normally have chosen but having done so can say its a beautifully written, powerful book & one that I would add to my best ever books lists. Wept buckets throughout though!
