 hello lovely!
Just popping up to say Hi so you know you're not talking to yourself!
You've got it all going on at the moment haven't you? What's the BBC thing about? (I don't thnk I read back far enough.)
I'm rationing my MSE time because once I get on here whole hours seem to get swallowed up and I really really should spend my spare time eBaying instead - as with all the extra expenses we've had over the last three or four months ( New car, car repairs roof repairs, immersion heater replacement, taps, funerals) we're struggling to pay any extra off the debts.
Having said that though, we should dip below £20k this payday so that's good.
I'd better go, My uncle has just died and I'm all out of sympathy cards, plus one of my eBay buyers wanted her shampoo sent by Special Delivery so I'd better get my skates on!
Mulder sends his love! :kisses3:

Now off to hand deliver gym letter & see what I can do and pay money in to bank & deliver parcel...back later! Have looked at diary & think that there is a definate pattern about this time of the month in terms of feeing low. Good because it means this too shall pass! Will ring GP & see if impant due a refit!
ISOM I think I have the same problem ref time of the month. Waiting to see if my mood drops again this week. Last month was really bad which spurred me into taking action.
Good luck with the Gym membershop, hope you get a refund.:j0 -
Hi Wendy. What did you do?! I have an appointment to see GP this afternoon after chatting to the nurse, to discuss. It's definately hormonal & thanks to here can see by looking back that it is! The good thing is that I know it will pass but the negative is that life just a bit of an effort while "in" it! Will see what she says...Keeping a mood diary will help I think and also going to note things like when I drink wine etc to see if there's a link there.
Hello jacks...flipping heck mate people are dropping like flies. Dont know what to say really & its no woner youve run out of symathy crds. Big hugs on al fronts for you as it sounds like youre having a really tough time....a FABBY well done on getting to under 20,000 - fab. What did you do to celebrate that particular milestone? I think we all get so entrencehed in DFW ways that we forget sometimes that we should celebrate these milestones cos they're hard won arent they eh! Big squidgy hug coming your way!
Back from seeing woman about gym and after 40 minutues of calm, but assertive, discussion they agreed to refund the £40 plus cancel immediately which saved me £100 (2 x 30 & 40) so am chuffed with that!
Then paid money into the bank (I counted it all wrong again!) and £133 off my CC! Because I get £40 from gym I paid it all in...Then had phisio (had a sandwich as had to have a test & wait an hour & was hungry by then) and now home before going to doctors.
Ebay buyer has refused to pay so will have to enter a dispute which hacks me off as it doesent look like I can do it until 31st Mch whch means yet more delay and a delay in getting the money into my account because I'm now so tight I dont want to transfer until 50 in to avoid the 50p fee!! See I may be a weeble, hormonal and fed but but at least I'm trying to be a good dfw!! Next job is sort puss cats going to have their jabs. Great news is MSDW are kindly giving me 5 months at 0% on purchases so can spread that one a bit! Off to sort that now!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Hi ISOM..you are going through the mill!!!..hope you feel better soon and well done on cancelling the gym and the TV..that was brave!!!...don't know what to say about ebay but those sort of things are what puts me off using it..sending you hugs..take care xx0

Hey ISOM - good to hear that you're getting some things sorted - if you really miss the tv and gym, you can always look at them again in a few months? Good idea about the tesco vouchers for the mag - don't forget that ipoint/nectar points from surveys can also be used for mag subs too.

Well I'm back from the doc and feel in one way releved that I went today & cried. She was lovely and looked at my records and said that for severe pmt such as this the only thing proven in studies to work for sever pmt is a drug I feel cautious about but as she said have a try and see but keep an eye on the side effects, which I will.
She really was lovely though and I felt much better when I left, although a bit if a failure for resorting to drugs. Again she was lovely and said she could understand this as always said she wouldnt take HRT until the side effects became so horrendous she couldnt bear it!. Have got "the drugs" and will see whether it makes a positive difference. No alcohol though which is a good thing me thinks. One of the side effects can be energy so that would be fab! Running a marathon in no time!!! She also said I shouldnt give up smoking at the moment - one thing at a time!! Yahoo...permission to puff away! GUILT FREE!!!! (temporarily I might add!).
Anyway what a day! Feel I've sorted quite a bit and a bit of a weight lifted to be honest in more ways than one. While I love the TV its more money; gym was just stressful & feel relieved having been honest about how bad the PMT has been & that feels a weight lifted in itself. This does feel like a last resort though as have tried everything else...if this doesent work it may be time to reconsider a hysterectomy...at the age of 38 I feel its a bit early & live in hope that my knight may whisk me off my feet...fingers crossed.
Other "good" news is when I told ebay refusing to pay woman that I was oing to file a non payment dispute she promptly paid up! Will be interesting to see what feedback I get from her!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0 -
Hi ISOM
I have had depression on and off for years and think alot is to do with the cycle but I have never really recorded things to confirm for sure. Im on "drugs" (mine starts with a c and makes me think of buggies) as well since last month. First time in a couple of years now. A low dose compared to previous bouts and I have felt much better the whole of the month and so far so good this week. They dont solve everything but make problems seem alot less difficult . The next few days will be the most important.
Great news about the gym well done you, very MSE.:j0 -
Guess its a case of keep taking the tablets eh!!! Mine is definately hormonal and I've suffered for years but its been alot worse of late & GO confirms that things (physical & emotional symptoms) do tend to worsten when you get older. Have had a read online and what she said was confirmed by various sites that for severe PMT this is the drug of choice - along with another two.
I just hope it works cos otherwise I will seriously have to think about the last option....its something I have considered over the years but will cross that bridge as & when I get to it. As of now I feel a bit battered as been crying on & off all day (middle of subways was interesting - trying to surrepticiously cry into my paper towel while sitting at a seat looking onto the street!!) but feels good to have dealt with it...Just goingto chill now, watch last nihts damages (which I hope taped this week!), hotel babylon & get an early night. Hugs all, esp those who I suspect may be lurking & also feeling down....feel free to pm for moral support!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Hugs honey - I hope that you feel better really soon. Take it easy and be gentle with yourself. You aren't a failure and the fact you've gone and asked for help shows this in itself!! Looking forward to the next round of CJs
Think I'm going to Ormskirk this sunday for a scrapbooking crop. Is it bad that I'm so excited about it? It'll cost £16 but I don't care!!

 Blimey, what a busy day hon!
I'm glad you got a few things ticked off the great list of life.I had a good bawl at the docs last month, so you're in good company.
I get rotten PMT as well - but not every month for some reason. The only way I know how to handle it, is to break all my usual rules! Hubby calls it "All bets are off" cos debtbusting, housework, dieting, working - everything - can kiss my @r$efor a day or so and I do whatever the heck I feel like doing! (and I don't do whatever makes me feel grumpier.)
In my last job I always used to realise I had my fierce head on and I was about to get my period when one of the littl'uns would bring over a cuppa , kind of push it towards me and then scuttle away very quickly without a word.Bless.
Hubby keeps an emergency £20 in the kitchen drawer - I've just discovered- in case I want a takeaway or dvd, or something else that costs money!
Evidently, he feels that preventing me from becoming actually homicidal is worth the investment! :rotfl:
I'm joking honey (like I do  ) but I know from experience that it's pretty poo, so fingers crossed that the pills from the doc make you feel better.
If nothing else happens between now and payday (Friday) we'll make a mahusive debt payment and get the other side of £20k. (a bit behind schedule to be honest) If we finally manage to do it I'd quite fancy an Indian takeaway, or a family day out, but we'll see.
Big squidgy hugs back at ya honeybun!
