  • Morning all, very chilled here! Yesterday was spent very dopey wit a trip to the nurse who advised not to have a bath for 3 days!! ugh! Sitting is qute uncomfortable so lying is the order of the day!! Thus not on here much...will try to get my CJ entry done on time but may be a bit late although will do my best not to be! Hope you're all ok! Will try to catch up...

Hi ISOM hope that you recover pretty quick..the days seem so much longer when in pain.I don't think anyone will mind if your CJ is a little late as they will understand..take care and get plenty of rest xx
  • Goodness me taxi you were up late! Yes days do seem long & daytime Tv doesent help!! Hard to get comfortable so just finished my book in bed with puss cats! Otherwise not much planned. Poor mum is feeling somewhat confined me thinks - although currently reading her book in her nightie!! May go out for a bit later but sitting for any length of time is painful...

Hiya ISOM how are you feeling? i've just got home from a 2 day course in northampton in a hotel with no internet access!!! eep!!!
It is usual for wounds to feel tight with stitches especially when knew and the wound is knitting. if it gets excessively itchy or clear fluid starts coming from it (sorry) then best to get it checked out.
So glad to see you back and around and the the op didn't leave any bad effects, Have had a read of my diary and not upset about your post at all. It is a very complicated thing to explain but i will try shortly, but for now work calls!!

  • hello mrs p was worried that we hadnt heard from you!! Good to hear that youre back safe & sound but sorry to hear of ferrett saga - slap for Oh...cricket bat...know what I do with one in the circumstances! Look forward t explanation but suspect it may go along the fresh start, see friend & wipe the slate clean...lines but will await with interest - its your decision anyhoo - just wanted to be a good friend & honest - even if its what my mum calls tough love!
Went out to lunch with mum & friend & wound very sore & tight - didnt know what to expect as never had stitches, never mind five inches of them just about my bum! After encouragement from mum & friend went to drs again and spoke to GP (they couldnt see me there & then!) who said I should see nurse tomorrow & he's signing me off for another week...I was being a bit optimistic I think of recovering that fast! Standing or sitting for over an hour is a no go and lying the only thing that is comfortable so am typing this semi lying down! Course I was meant to go on on Monday has been cancelled as no way I could sit down all day and have left a message for my boss. I was off anyway so practically makes little difference...
Have to say I am a tad ****** with valentines day...I dont mind being single on the whole but having my nose rubbed in it doesent help! Plus commercialism gone mad eh! Ooo lets see how much we can get people to spend....anyway!

I know what you mean re valentines day, would rather have someone tell me they love me because they want to rather than someone says they must that day.....Yep commercialism it is.....

Do hope you start to feel better soon. xxx

  • morning all - well todays exciting plans are a trip to the nurse, get my sick note and umm...well thats it! whooo for exciting eh! Mum gone home this morning (forgetting her marmalade & chutney! always forgets sommat!!) so peace is restored athough she was lovely & really looked after me! Got hotties (hot water bottles!), water, tucked me up, went to chemist, washed & ironed plus we had a laugh....bless...while her untidyness (ie inability to replace anything where it belongs or take mugs/glasses to the kitchen when used!!) drives me nuts its quiet without her!! Will also try to get on with the CJ today and may take the car to carwash but otherwise going for a no spender!
