aww thanks taxi! Thanks for the linky bob! Very funny! Dont know how you function on no sleep...I'd be eeevil!
Well todays adventures were mixed with mundane housework! Went with Weezl to the car boot after a leisurely brekkie finishing a book. Managed to get a cook book, ant farm (which I may flob on fleabay) and a gorgeous church style bench for £25 which I'm really pleased with as it has storage seat where all my jam, jars, bottles and thermomiters now reside instead of untidilily at the end of the bed! Much better!
Back to Weezl's for a cuppa and taste of potential forraging fodder (see Weezls thread!) as thought it good idea to spend 50p and try it before dashing round the country to find it locally at a 90 mile round trip. If it was dire we'd have been gutted although thinking I wonder if we can get it closer so will have a hunt! Both Weezl's & I tried it & it was ok!
Then off to allotment for a bit of weeding, watering & chattering & to clean the loo.
Bench now in, had a chat with me best mate & had a clean of kitchen which is now sparkling, done ironing & ready (or as ready as I will ever be!!) for the week ahead! Next w/e on call so will be a quieter w/e! Feel my feet havent touched the ground this w/e! Yog has made well & chuffed with that but even more chuffed with the soda bread which is lovely! Will try yog tomorrow though as tummy a bit delicate still! Dont think I have food poisening as dont feel ill now...fingers crossed!! Will have an early night tonight but of to catch up on you lot first! Looks like the site went down earlier...screen went very funny!
Ps best mate guessed straight away that I got a kitten and was expecting it after I said about one I saw in the shop a few weeks ago!! Predictable me if nowt else!! hehe!

Yes & now I have a cracking headache! Not sure why...possibly after "the curry incident" yesterday. Felt quite sick last night TBH & was worried that I had food poisening as I lay in bed wondering if I should get a bucket...
Just back from SW & lost 2 1/2 ibs so 3 in total now. Averages out at a pound a week which is fine. Got two more recipe books and some old mags cheap which is handy for the recipes!
An ok day but feel the need for another early night due to thumping head which crept up fast! My first being cooked for meal tomorrow in work & must also sort me money out! Hopefully another 700 off this month! Also had o/d to catch up on but also have teh 300 tax rebate which apparently they may look at in 5 weeks. Hows that for customer service!! I asked if they pay interest!!! If shoe was on the other foot they would charge me & seems appalling that they can leave it 5 weeks to even ack it!
Off to catch up on you lot, chat to Pania & then bed! Hugs all!

  • Well done on the weight loss. I have made your no knead bread today, just waiting for it to cool down.
DS did one in the bread maker as well. so we now have three loaves to attack yum, yum!
Hope your headache sorts itself out hun. Just had a thought re them, as a friend has similar ones after accident and stuff..anyway he went to hospital and it turned out he has polyps in unusual bits of sinuses as well as needing his nose straightened. Whilst under anaesthetic they did a snius washout as well..hopefully he will have reduced the headache/migrianes after swelling goes down. Maybe it is worth getting them all checked out.
