Hi ISOm at least if you eat next week before you go again it will show a true loss then.Hope everything is ok for you.
  • Never mind about sw, hun..it will show next week, i am sure. Glad to see that young alfie is settling in, hope bob isn't ordering chianti behind your back!

Evening all. Up & dow day but stuck to diet & did my first lunch swap. Used up the veggie curry I made and did it with couscous & toms & it was yummy & both liked it! Alfie still doing ok & thankfully no out of litter tray disasters today! Think he may need to stay in sitting room at night as he likes to play at 5am & loves to kill any mice around the house (not real ones I hasten to add!) which is quite noisy. On strike tomorrow & Thurs so an odd (not fully paid!) week! Thankfully I have on call plus tax rebate to come but if they strike again have decided to come out of union as just cant afford it but will need to make sure I have some kind if cover through a professional body as very vulnerable to allegations etc in my job.
Done some baking of SW recipes which was nice & made nice fresh bread for brekkie tom! Will have nice breakfast in bed with me book! Heaven! Bank balance abysmal but its payday Friday & thankfully the tax rebate should be 300+ so that will easily make the shortfall up but must get back to serious debtbusting as been quite blase of late. Not that I regret Alfie but he did cost a few bob! (but hes worth it!!)
Hope youre all ok...Thanks to people who post - I really do appreciate it - even if its just a helllloooooo!! Hugs all!

  • Sorry to hear the weight loss has stalled a bit. Might just be a cycle thing. Hope the baking pays off. I have started trying to walk a bit more to burn some extra calories.

Fingers crossed the tax rebate goes through quickly £300 is a nice sum to help ease the cost of lovely cute Alfie and the strike.

Thanks all..feeling quite relaxed about it all as just know it will take a bit longer but no point getting stressed! Wasnt delighted about the O/D but its 0% so better than on CC. WIll do a car boot soon! Just off out to dinner! Had a lovely day! Woke at 11.15 then friend ame round for a cuppa & to mee Alfie (she said he was cute but less enthusiastic than me, although most are lol!)! Then took Alfie & Bob to the vets & looked for a tapesry & got on onli. Alfie has bad his injections, Bobs teeth & balls are as they should be & I had a lovely bill but that included worming & flea for all of em so not bad although must look online for tabs etc as think its cheaper, although my vet not too bad! Saw my lovely vet & said hi...what a sweetie he is.
Have investigated yog making & going to get an easyjo tomorrow and getting Weezls pig too! All well here & looking forward to my friend arriving as my tummy is most hungry!

  • Had to laugh at that..his teeth and balls are as they should be..blommin eck! My views shall now remain firmly locked in my head..suffice to say, i hope the vet didn't let him near a tooth sharpener..or mini chianti kit:rotfl: :rotfl:

hehe!! What can I say, never been one to beat about the bush & said to (somewhat surprised vet!) are his balls really meant to be so big thatthey drag on the floor!! Um, well yes, they are known to have rather large testicles replied vet with a grin, but seriously say I, THAT big!! It was very funny!!!
Just back from a lovely (cheap - 12) eve with my friend who is definately pregnant! Had a good natter & came back here so she could meet the latest family member (who she wouldnt have been able to reisist either!) and have free pud of ice cream, beer for me & hot ovalitine! Her husband may be miles away when she goes into labour so I offered to hold her hand if needs be!
All in all the perfect day in many ways; a bit of shopping, looking after my babies (lthough Alfie didnt appreciate the jesture!), seeing friends (2...how sociable am I eh!!) and having good food plus a blissful lie in & making you ot laugh. Cant be bad!
