Thanks KC! Didnt take food as couldnt due to nature of the day but managed a reasonably friendly lunch...Very busy day and quite emotional but blessings in some ways. Made the brown pot bread & its yummy! Just had a roll I made with bacon and marmalade - deeeelicious! Thanks for the SW recipes Bob! Will have a squizz this w/e! Have got my first swap lunch tomorrow being made so great as I wont have to cook and another busy day so one less thing to think about is great! My time is on Mon so can be creative at the w/e. Off to catch up with pepys. Fairly good day spends wise and managed to do my food shop for £15 which is FAB...for me anyway!

Bread is yummy axi - had t tonight with a bit of sandwich spread & cottage cheese with 2 digestives for afters - yum! Now enjoying a bit of vin blanc with tcat!
Weezl is going to do me a birthday party (interactive of course!) which is really lovely of her! Lentils are on the menu no doubt (so lots of farting at 39 years & 1 day no doubt!!) but I really dont mind as it means alot to me that she is making the effort as I know this will be what I would call sacrificial giving (ie they will have to cut back to do it) and means more than a meal of caviar & the best champagne...I know youre watching Weezl (& no doubt have plans afoot!!) and it means alot to me! BTW me girl you can post on my diary to say hi (as can AM!!) as people wont stone you for coming over from os to say hi!!
Work wasnt free as the meal swap forgot she was doing the meal swap so I got lunch of breakkie without the bread & beans! Nice meal to come next week instead!
Went to see woman about future babysitting (she booked Friday but cancelled that!) and seems nice plus has friends who need occasional sitter which ideal for me. No new on tax rebate but another busy day at work today; a days training tom and then a blissful w/e. Hope the weather clears enough to plant sweetcorn (unless its died already!) & will do a trip to nice butcher for Weezls pig head! Yuck is all I can say! Snails I tried before but they dont taste much but a pig snout is an experementation to farr for me cos they are soooo cute! What would what the paper maches pig say eh! He is still growing & no temp to break into him at present lol! On strike 2 days next week...two days no pay but 2 days off. SOme people are working despite being in the union & I was surprised at how wrong this felt to me! Mind you I dont know peoples financials so possibly no option not to...Gong to bed in a mo! I have been bad. What can I say. I needed a man in the house and he's sooo cute I couldnt resist. As my mum said "hopeless". I know I am but TBH I dont care!! I'l tke a photie of him in a bit and upload so you can see the new edition who is currently assisting in typing, exploring and, yup you guessed it, purring!! He's a grey tabby and has very unusual eyes & I suspect a bit of siamese in there somewhere although pet womam (not me lol!!) feels its a possible ragdoll mix...He's just scoffed the kitten food and is exploring the sitting room. Just looked at the telly which I dont think he's seen before! My mum rang as I was in the pet shop and rang from my granny's old garden and rang in "happy want this share this with you tears" so I asked what she thought and she laughed and said "youre hopelss!" Arent I just!! Off to locate a suitable name for the young fella!!
