Potato bread! I lurve potato cakes, that could be a great idea. I need to cook snack-y things like that once a week - I'm on a grocery challenge with redsquirrel, and desperation snacks are going to kill me unless I can do something like that. Meal swaps sound wonderful, tho I don't think I can go that route personally - go for it tho!

That is ok, i would syn value the flour if you are using it but other than that they are syn free.

I use it for chees potatoes, and potato pizza..just bake the potato base in the oven, and when slightly harder add the rest as you would for a pizza, very filling and totally yum.....

Potato peelings, spray in spry lite, add spices and bake in oven for delicious crispy syn free snack..same for most root veg....parsnip, carrots and turnips of course!

Or bake potatoes, cut in half and scoop out the potato, add healthy extra cheese, toms and chives, mash together with a bit if milk from healthy extra, finish off under grill or back in oven...

can you tell i lurve spuds?. x

Some great potato ideas there ISOM and Bob! Snacks definitely the biggest budget challenge I think.

Err, was half watching that thriller ISOM - I know he was convicted but then later released but did he actually do it?

    Have a good day x

Hi all! Back fro work..A wonderful day but I am pooped. Literally didnt have the energy to run a bath for now but will when the pain killers kick in...have been on my feet pretty much all day & my back is absolutely killing me...always does but worth it and this year no exception! How lucky I am to have a job that I love, where I get to make such a difference plus see people flourish. Fab!
RS he was released & didnt do it! His mate in prison (Pete Postlethwaite) got killed for half killing the nasty guy to get the info but thats what got him released! Very good but now have to catch up on everything else I missed in the week!
This eve going to just chill and will have a nice soak in a bit. Weather has been less than good but we all had fun despite that! Will check teh pot bread recipe bob...did a red day in teh end & was VERY focussed and have been good - eaten nowt but melon, toms, ham & sausages all day! Not a naughty thing pased my lips! V. chuffed with myself as seem to be "in the groove" which is good...hope it lasts a while! I seem to be fine if I focus but struggle, like most when I cant!
A friend emailed me this which is worth a look and really makes you consider usage of carrier bags! The title looks like it could be rude but promise it isnt!

Afternoon! Annoyed with myself as did so well until the bottle of wine came out & polished off the lot! grr! Have had a good green day today and made some lentil burgers that were a bit "sloppy" so hunting out recipes to make them sucessfully! Have been feeling quite icky all day and our Weezl suggested that the increase in mgraines could be no/less sugar which it could be plus today tummy very sore which I'm pretty sure is the scan bran...always takes my tummy a while to adjust to new things :) While healthy diet is good for you its frustrating as done very little today except sleep, bake some bread & gifty cake bars & tidy...mind you do think I needed a quiet day as a 6 days working week is hard plus I have a very busy week this week with 3 days training, full on meetings and no time to take any time off!! Bob where do you get your SW recipes from?

Morning ISOM - hope you have a good day and a good evening with SW and book group! I know the feeling re the increased fibre, have had an increase in bran flakes and lentils since new budget and it's taking a bit of getting used to!!
