Not a NSD for me ☹️ Car was in for MOT (which was budgeted for). However it needed 4 new brakes and other bits to do with brakes (you can tell I’m not a mechanic 🤣) which used up my car repair fund and my emergency fund. I know that’s the purpose of an EF and, had I been in the same situation last year I would have used my credit card, so I should be happy that I haven’t got myself further in to debt. But I feel deflated as it’s taken me ages to build up the EF and I know it’ll be a while before I’m able to build it up again.MFW 2025 #45
Jan 2016 Mortgage = £149,895
Current outstanding = £97,725
2024 Overpayment = £675.66

But @AuntieL look at what else you have achieved as well from your signature, you are making great progress, eventually all your money can go into EF so you will be in a better place once you are debt free. But I know what you mean, I am so inpatient to see it grow, it just never grows for me.3
