  • So today was pretty mixed. Had DREADFUL period pains for most of it but they died off eventually so I tidied up the conservatory. Sounds silly but its really cheered me up! its all clean and tidy and my e bay stuff is organised and ready to go....

I am going away tomorrow, to learn to drive its a residential course.

I am a bit nervous I will be all by myself but in some ways I am looking forward to it. I am taking my laptop but it doesn't have internet there! and I am taking my Open University. drive all day and study all night whilst watching the olympics.

I feel terrible that I haven't told Mum but if I pass it will be a good suprise for her. she will be really pleased without any of the worry.

best make a list of what to take.

    see you all on Saturday

    hi Buffy
Not sure if you will get this before you go, but
    GOOD LUCK
Really hope that you pass. Just don't get sucked into any evening drinking or anything! I reckon if you can study just 2 hours a night then you will have broken the back of it. So go for it girl.

THERE WILL BE NO DISTRACTIONS SO NO EXCUSES. God I sound like your mum! Don't really mean to nag honest!

I want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:
  • Hello everybody - gosh I've missed a lot. Well quick version of life Chez Rage. Have had a response to avon ad on e-bay - will be sending that brochure out today - fingers crossed. London was okay in parts - was REALLY ill on way down (thoughts of either getting back on train or being admitted to a hospital) but managed to cope with co-codamol. Tutankahmen exhibition was not worth £22 each but then me and Mr Rage have been to Egypt 3 times now so they would probably have had to have a teleport to the pyramids to impress us but we did go to the Tower of London on a whim and loved it (if you gift aid your entry fee you get free entry for a year!). Royal Academy pants (that exhibition is getting worse I swear) and managed to turn us off sufficiently for us only to get halfway through the National. But we did see the 100m men's final in Trafalgar Square which was good. Spent a lot (just HAD to pop into Fortnum's darhlinks - rude not to) but only bought a bit of tourist tat (2 pencils with london buses on them to stop them being nicked at work  ). Really nasty e-bay customer (wanted to know why they hadn't got their stuff like 4 days after winning it in the evening on a Thursday! - 5 e-mails in 48 hours "demanding" their money back!). All sorted now - just ignored them and reported them for abusive e-mails...... Two big boxes of avon stuff to put on e-bay (where is it all coming from? ) and been doing some digital transcription. Have also signed up for a further 2 companies as well so at this rate I will be able to give up working at "Stalag NHS" in the New Year. Thinking of doing OU course (one of the ones they offer in connection with either Edinburgh or Oxford Uni). Oh, and Mr Rage has had a pay rise - that's 2 in 18 months for him and he gets in one year what I'm meant to get over 3  NOT FAIR!!! Right, off for a rifle through the avon boxes as one of my work colleagues has asked about foot stuff and I'm pretty sure I'm got some clearance stuff which was like 55p to me and.."..... " (a bit more) to her :D
But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green :D
