  • I just had my assessment lesson for driving.

going to book an intensive course. 6 days 5 hours every day.

that blue smiley pretty much sums up how I feel about driving. I know its the right thing to do but i still feel shakey! mind you I didn't sleep much last night and my sister and her bf are coming over to dinner today which I hate to be honest. so they could explain quite a lot of the stress.

I now have to go downstairs and remove any trace of me so that the house is tidy.

Do you know what I think I am going to make a promise to myself today that this day, 20th July is the LAST time I will be here when they come for dinner. they don't come to see me they come to see mum. I just get in the way and hate sitting about wasting time - my precious time off work. feel like a kid.

so off to tidy. should also clean out small furries and mark books and assessments for tomorrow. and do filing.

might just do it all any way and make an apearance for dinner? will look rude but I am past caring

pleased about the driving lesson tho. the woman who is teaching me is lovely VERY reassuring and positive.

any one got any tips for learning to drive?

have you got your theory? and have you thought about taking rescue remedy? not to make you super super chilled but possibly to remove some of the anxiety? do you get much opportunity to practice in between lessons?

(gosh so many questions! congrats on the new job-great news!)

    Be rude.

Look after yourself, I'm sure they look after themselves and you don't need that stress.

Driving? I've been told by many people that learning/the exam is the WORST THING IN THE WORLD. It's a long time since I did it, and couldn't imagine life without driving :o But there are a lot of people on the road that are completely stupid, if they can drive so can you :p

We're looking at an intensive driving course and test for DS2, let me know how it goes please? (and cost  )
  • COD - I have passed the theory, I didn't think I would!! but I did! I wondered about rescue remedy, does it work? I don't get any opportunity to practice but I guess I could sit my car and go through the gears.... hmmm. I have a DVD thing too I could use.

Olive Oyl- brace yourself, my course is costing 925, which isn't that bad at all, 6 days, 5 hours per day, residential course staying in bed and breakfast, then add in the cost of the test which I think is 45 quid?

and yes, I shall just do my thing.

see you all later and thanks for the support

well I managed everything apart from the marking. got to give the kids books back tomorrow.

 feel very sick tho. don't know why.

its day 14 of my 70 day challenge(well Oliveoyl's challenge)

and I am ok, done a few bits, sorted out avon written only one essay, planned anew tidy room and started to tidy up the conservatory.

must switch off computer and mark books. not that the kids will care to be honest. we break up on Wednesday thank God.

right off to feed big furries and go to bed.

    see you all tomorrow
