PCN from ECP at Morrisons car park

  • Re writing to the CEO, would something like this be ok, or am I still too soft/harsh?

    Dear Mr Baitiéh,

    I'm very sad and disappointed to not have heard back and received any help from you or your company regarding my complaint/request to cancel the PCN that I received for parking at your store in Barnslay as a customer about five weeks ago now.
    It has really dented my belief in all the good things I've read about Morrisons in the past being helpful and cancel PCNs that their customers have received. Especially since you promised to building on your predecessor's "strong legacy of always putting shoppers first"! It was only a few months ago, but seems like you may have already forgotten?
    From all the positive comments I read in the community saying that Morrisons was (one of) the best to help their customers, either by the local store manager, your customer service parking team, or by your predecessor(s) who was always willing to help their customers, I was hoping I would receive similar help from either of you. But I have received no response from your parking team although contacting them 2.5 weeks ago, nor from you since writing you almost 2 weeks. And the store/duty managers refused helping claiming they couldn't do anything. Is this some new corporate policy you might have implemented since taking over the post as CEO? If so, it seems to contradict your statement quoted above. If not, maybe you need to re-educate the managers at this particular store, and perhaps even the staff at the customer service counter, who kept insisting it was a fine! I also feel that the manager's comment regarding having the parking management and restrictions is to "making sure to have spaces for our customers" is just a big lie, as at the same time he's selling tickets to non-customers!
    It's been a very stressful time lately as our six week old son have some medical issues and can't sleep properly. And on top of that I've had to deal with this nonsense. I made a little mistake, but was assured from all I read to not worry about it as "Morrisons will take care of it"... I'm still waiting for it to happen... And I'm sure the community is also interested in finding out whether they should still proclaim that Morrisons helps their customers, or if that has changed.
    If you really don't want me as a customer anymore, I'll be happy to return my last shopping to the Barnsley store, which I did when speaking to the manager there. And I will also return my loyalty card which I've had since early 2015, and you won't have to see or hear from me again! And it will end the positive image I've had of Morrisons since I moved to this country in 2011 and started shopping at your stores, even though I was working at a different supermarket and had staff discount there!
    If you decide to help, please find the PCN and other details attached.

    Yours disappointedly (so far but still salvageable),
    me, wife and mini-me

    Once again ECP entrance signage is totally inadequate and does not conform to BPA COP in spite of what they may claim:

    @fisherjim
    However, that not the entrance I used, it was the one in the other direction:  www.google.co.uk/maps/@53.549306,-1.4813262,3a,15y,244.77h,89.22t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1syWV9xhg_kd0uCkqQjPnAZQ!2e0!7i16384!8i8192?entry=ttu

    And sorry that I couldn't post proper link, ya'll know why.

    closeup is from the "wrong direction"/exit lane, so doesn't show much as sign is obscured by the tree

    Yep just as bad their signage is always awful but they will say has been audited by the BPA which as we suspect is basically an annual chat over a cup of tea in their office with a glance over office copies of generic signage.
