Good choice with the overdraft, ive never had one but ive always had a back up "emergency" CC. But now I have none! It can be stressful but I havent needed to use extra money.

Long term it’s definitely right choice.

It is certainly feeling a lot better that spring seems to be around the corner :). Today has been a pretty decent day work wise, meetings all gone as expected and also managed to tick another two long tasks off the list. Hopefully by Friday I will be in a position to just have a few bits of admin to wrap up the week.
I am looking forward to getting the budget reset and for payday to come. We will have around £70 left so we will put £50 into the emergency fund and we might treat ourselves to a nice tea tomorrow.

Brilliant that you have money left at the end of the month. Enjoy the takeaway(?) treat.

Thank you @Dakota_Rose we will either have takeaway, or maybe just a nice meal from supermarket that we wouldn’t normally splash out on. Takeaway always seems naughty 😂.
Today is going to be a busy one, got a bit of a focused admin thing I need to get done first thing ready for a site meeting and then a few calls. This week i have seemed to feel more productive even though I’ve got less tasks done.Tonight I will go through my March budget, there’s not much diversion from the standard month but we do have a few hospital appointments so I will need parking for those plus we will likely go out for a meal on Mother’s Day.
Hope everyone has a good day

£50 transferred to the emergency fund so that now stands at £150. I’m hoping to keep slowly adding to this throughout the next few months. It’s good to see it building back up, even just a small amount feels better than nowt.

Nice work getting the emergency fund growing again 😊

Today went as expected really, a long day full of meetings and travelling. I did manage to have lunch out with some personal funds I had left. We chilled and watched another episode of stranger things, we are now at the point where the girls have seen from so now they are loving letting me get attached to the characters knowing full well what happens 😂
I have shuffled the wages into the various parts where they need to be and updated YNAB. I have also lowered my other overdraft to £50.00, this will be reduced to zero next month. I don't feel the need for it, and I can do without the temptation.

You've inspired me to reduce my remaining overdraft tomorrow.
