We have successfully navigated another pay cycle 🫣. There is currently funds left in the account with no other bills or bits to come out so tomorrow I will pay that extra to the CC as an overpayment.

I interviewed at the other company and this went well and I was offered the role, they have given me some time to think over things and see what I want to do. I have had a meeting my current manager and I must say they were very receptive and seemed really keen on finding out my concerns and trying to find a role that I might be more comfortable with, so a decision to be made.

Finance wise there hasn't been any real surprises this month, but from this pay I need to allocate some funds to getting some new work clothes mine are getting a bit...tight...obviously not making use of my gym membership! Looking forward to the reset and allocate the next month out.

    Great news about the job(s)!!
Hopefully you have enough time to think them through and figure out which one will give you all you need.
I changed jobs last October and it was the best thing I've ever done. Much better work life balance and my physical health and mental health has improved greatly.

Thank you @rachmac3, it is good to have options and to be honest I had pretty much made up mind ( without committing) that I was going to leave. I am just not happy with my role (technical aspect but my manager long term sees me dropping that element), my main issue is that I need to find a way to not bring work home - I have been a proper nightmare to live with last few months I suspect! So its about getting myself mentally right but as my missus says irrespective of what job I am in unless I start saying no then I will find myself In same position

I guess the question I need to answer is  - do I just see it has a job and get as much pay for the work I can but deal with the frustration and just enjoy life outside work or do I take a quite significant pay cut and go somewhere that might be better but with extra out of hours work. I used to be very career oriented so its weird tbh

On another note it's payday! I remember been so excited about the payday move around previously but now I am in the routine it gets sorted pretty quickly. Hope everyone has a good day
