I just got a 12month 0% balance transfer card from NatWest, with no transfer fees. My credit score is not great, so you should be able to get one too if you do decide to go down that route.
I hope you're feeling better soon.
    Thank you,

I am thinking I will probably go down that route. There is only a small balance and the interest is not a huge amount but I worked out if I paid my usual payment it would be cleared well in advance of the interest free period ending.

I only have two cards - one never carries a balance as I use it for food and petrol and the balance is transferred to be paid in full every pay day. I have seen a lot recently about people paying all their expenses in a similar way to save on interest but I am certainly not in that place to trust myself to do that or even know how that works. But doing way I do it just makes it a little easier to budget.
