    - When bought house £315,995 mortgage debt and end date at start = October 2039 - now £239,814
    - OPs to mortgage = £10,327 Interest saved £4,584 to date
    Fixed rate 3.85% ends November 2029

    Thank you all, you can’t beat the beach to calm you down.  Finally finished for my week off🎉🎉🎉 today might have been the longest 12 hrs ever not that anything bad happened (actually it was quite a nice day) but I need a break.

    No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff.    Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.
