Well it’s been all go this week at work and folk trying to get me to do extra hours despite the fact I am around 8 hours over my contracted hours already. I am feeling as if I have been quite bolshy all week😂 I have been polite but firm. Actually working today but have a few hours free at the moment.
Underspent on holiday so have skimmed that off to cc bill, hopefully won’t have to take much out of bills account (paid car insurance).

No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

So just when I thought I was doing well I got a parking ticket through the post! I thought I had paid but it was in a remote spot and there doesn’t seem to be a corresponding payment off my bank account so I guess it didn’t work? It’s crap and I know I could ignore it but the letters arriving would stress me out too much.
