I nearly spent a lot of money earlier - on hair thing by hoover guy but decided just to buy a cheapo hot brush using points instead🎉 i am learning…
Went to the gym today, then picked DF up and went to see DM, then took DF for a coffee at their favourite garden centre but he paid I just did the transport.

No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

The weather was awful this morning and for much of the afternoon, took DF to see DM and it wasn’t a good day, stressful for all of us and was so relieved to be heading home afterwards I forgot to pick up a parcel🙄 decided to walk the mile each way to get it despite it being dark by this point (4pm), anyway I think it did me good to get out. At least it stayed dry! Made myself a yummy Chinese for dinner, healthy and had everything in already so no spending required. Made enough to freeze some for another day.
