It is so cold here, this job seems to involve a lot of killing time between visits, so I try to fit a walk in for exercise but also end up in supermarket cafes trying to keep warm - it was -2c most of the day rising to 0c at some points, here is a photo from today’s walk.
DS popped in after work while I was working and messaged me saying he had fed the cat, this would have been great except for the fact I had already popped home and fed her! I

No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

I would be struggling to make myself walk in those temperatures too, especially if leaving very warm spaces to get into those cold temperatures - something of a thermal shock!KKAs at 17.03.26:
