Thanks Beanie, it was nice, we went for a wee walk and a spin round a gallery too. Then we went to see my mum, DS was always golden boy the only grandchild but she didn’t even acknowledge him being there despite me telling her. She ate her cake and drank her coffee and went back to bed. She’s alive but she’s not really there, hard to see.

Oh no. I’m so sorry. I didn’t realise that things were so tough for you both. That’s grim. 🤗

She sleeps most of the time Beanie, she doesn’t have dementia but has had so many strokes. I have cared for many people with dementia and to be honest they all get more joy out of life than she does, it’s hard to see. I did get a that’s nice response to the jumper I got her so that’s my one positive of the day.

Thanks KK, to be fair I got more out of her than I did on Saturday when I went with my dad… old age sucks
In my attempts to age well I have been to the gym already, it was a hard session today but still fun. Maybe burnt off a few of the sweets I ate yesterday😂
I have my bedding blowing about on the whirligig but just waiting for the rain to start again!

Well the washing didn’t stay out long, it’s been pouring most of the day. I have sorted out the huge pile of clean washing and did the ironing😇
Weirdly enough I haven’t spent much personal money this month so decided to make a £50 OP to the mortgage, many a mickle…
