  • I can confirm that you get the switch payment for each account got the Natwest payment yesterday and the rbs one today
So I assume that the 2 x £1250s you paid in were pretty close together?
No I did one left the money in for 24 hours transfered the money out and then transfered it into the other account

Am I understanding it correctly that it's possible to get a switch bonus from all three of these banks for a total of £600 in bonuses?! I've never been with any of these banks so never had a switch bonus. If so, what is the best way to go about it, go from old bank to 1st of these, get the cash, hen repeat with the 2nd and then 3rd, OR to open extra donor accounts and open all three of these at the same time? Presumably if it is the second option it would be possible to move the necessary £1250 in one lump from one account to another rather than put £1250 into each account?

    Thanks!

You cannot do more than one switch with the same details. Submitting two switches with the same details would result in one of them failing, you need a different donor account for each switch.
  • Just to add my experience.  RBS switch completed yesterday (27th) and paid in the £1250 yesterday evening.  Ulster switch completes tomorrow (29th) will move the £1250 into Ulster tomorrow night.
Haven’t tried NatWest, as dont have 3 burner accounts but did get the NatWest bonus in November last year.  I got the RBS bonus in maybe 2019, so wasn’t entitled to it last year.
If I get RBS and Ulster this time around I’ll give NatWest a punt.
My credit score has actually gone up this month, despite opening these two accounts!

It takes time for new accounts to start reporting. But the credit score is just a marketing tool, it doesn't take into account the most important aspects of scoring a credit application, such as income and outgoings.

    On a lighter note:

If I had a switch bonus for every time someone on this thread has asked the same questions I'd be a very rich forumite!
    Sorry!

65 pages to search through though...!

Absolutely.  63 pages of the same questions.

As I say, I'm only joking though.

I've got the time and patience to scroll through - most haven't.

Genuinely I hope you get sorted.

    🤞

  • My switch from a Nationwide donor account into my NatWest current account (which is my main bank account) completed today. My wages also got paid in this morning too. Hoping that counts as the £1250 otherwise it’s wait a month for the £200.
It will, mine did as I posted previously.
I’ve received nothing yet. I’ll keep an eye out to see if it drops in tomorrow or Friday.
