It isn't the second or third times according to the terms tho, which I think is @Tonski's point.
That's my reading.

Sorry, just to clarify my switches were:
Chase to Natwest
Chase to RBS
Natwest to Ulster
I just meant that they paid me the £200 for the original switch to Natwest, and then another for using that account to switch immediately within their banking group.1 -
My 3rd and final switch in the Trilogy was rejected by my bank Chase because some details were wrong. It's a bit confusing as Nat West are saying it's because the old account is joint - but it's not. Then it appears one digit in the account number is wrong anyway. They are saying it's too late to correct it now as it would be a new switch request and won't meet the date for a £200 bonus.
Any point in perusing this. I've tried via Cora chat but they are not having it. Is it possible to complain further to Nat West?0 -

Is it possible to complain further to Nat West?If it is genuinely error on your part, then you'll probably have to chalk it up to experience, and take comfort in the fact Natwest Group run these promotions regularly, and presuming nothing changes in their enforcement of the 'group wide exclusion' you'll probably be able to get it next time. The only potential avenue for a complaint IMHO is for the miscommunication regarding the cause of the failed switch, but it's difficult to prove that has caused you to lose out on the bonus - just a bit of an unneccessary runaround for you.0 -

1: It was your error.
2: If you pursue it they can just say you received a bonus from RBS/Ulster and according to the terms aren't entitled to one from NatWest too.0 -
Hopefully a new offer comes up to switch again0

I received an Ulster paying in book today, didn't know they still existed. My nearest branch is 200 miles away 😁3

The Natwest/RBS/Ulster £200 switching offer, fun4everyone's review.
From best to worst, my ranking of the experience of switching to each of the banks in this offer.
1) Ulster
Sent me a paying in book. Loved to communicate via snail mail. Took ages to even get started to the point you have to wait a day to see if you even get a link to start the ID check. Sent out a letter to everyone leaving many people unsure if they had to actually physically sign it and post it back, you had to read the contents carefully to find out. Made me pick a branch despite me having to take a ferry/plane to get to it Although very confusing and old fashioned did eventually get the job done and paid the bonus on time. Once you have it open you can also get a 5.2% easy access savings account. Truly a bank for the BOOMERS and a hilarious process, the paying in book alone made it number 1.
2) RBS
Par for the course, everything worked on time and text messages were prompt and accurate. My account was open and switch complete here faster than the other two but they took the longest to pay the bonus. Several days later even than the Jurassic era Ulster bank. Probably saw I came off an MSE link and thought "not another of these again".
3)NatWest
Was quick to start the process like RBS but despite sitting in the same place, wearing the same top and in the same light as the other two repeatedly failed me on the "liveliness" check or whatever on earth it is. They failed me so many times they eventually told me to "smile" as I zoomed in on myself on their camera. I dont smile on my passport photo and I dont ***** smile on a bank ID photo you tools. This isnt going for gold. I eventually did smile in the lit up circular area but off to the side in the darkened part I stuck my middle finger up. This one got sent for human verification where it passed.
