Things going slow again?

Just had the same error message as ColdIron, right in the middle of looking at a thread. Previously (last couple of days) only had the 504 when first trying to access the forum.

Im getting the Gateway Timeout message on every click at the moment

We've added a notice on the top of board (category) pages about the current page loading issues.

We're sorry for the inconvenience. Rest assured we're experiencing exactly the same thing at our end!

I can no longer access the forums on my tablet.
It's been going slow for some time.
Now i get timed out Vanilla on my regular forums and this has replaced my shortcut icons with vanilla timed out meaning I would have to access by search and sign in again which I don't have time or inclination to do.
I also can't get in to the front page latest/moral dilemma etc either without crashing.
The slider on the home page is slow and won't complete.
A search for mse brings up vanilla timed out.

This doesn't happen (so far) on my laptop-which I rarely use for forums.

This has also been mentioned by many members within the forums.

A clear sign of technical issues lasting a while is when I type ``b" into the search bar and I find my browser has renamed the MSE pages to ``Vanilla | Origin Server Error".

Basically unusable at the moment. Time for MSE to get medieval with Vanilla Forums!

Interestingly - when I get the error it is reporting my IP address as an IPv6 address. (That's nothing I've done at my side to cause that, as far as I know. No VPN running for example). 🤷‍♀️

Hmm.. I also got the ip address invalid at some point.

The forum is running better this morning for us - please do say if you're still seeing abnormally slow speeds
