Barely better than yesterday. I get the dreaded 504 error on about 1 in 5 clicks. 3 of the others are s l o w and 1 is normal

Can you not put a warning up about the issue?

Bit of a joke after 2 days now 😶‍🌫️

    GATEWAY TIME-OUT

The web server reported a gateway time-out error.

This is now beginning to make MSE UNUSABLE.
A complete waste of time and another reason why moving to Vanilla was a big mistake.

I'm getting the cloud flare errors with almost every click on MSE now.  This is on multiple devices at multiple locations (different ISPs).

And the thread entitled - Welcome to the new Forum look – give us your feedback - has now been closed today.

Clearly feedback is no longer wanted.

2 days? It's been happening for more than a month, just sometimes worse than others. I first reported it on 2nd February. It's no joke.

@KeithP - I temporarily closed that thread to keep the feedback about the new forum design launched last year separate from people's reports of the current temporary page loading speed problems we've seen yesterday and today, which it makes more sense to gather in this thread.

We're very grateful for people's feedback on both counts.

There are double posts all over the forum, no doubt caused by the current problems.☹

I'd think that people who haven't found this thread are assuming it's something wrong at their end.

Why doesn't mse put up a warning so that people who do reach the site know it's playing up.  🤔

Makes sense to corral the 504 problems
It's worse today than it was yesterday. I'm receiving a different error today as well as the usual 504 errors. I suspect the root cause is the same
Are you sure you're not suffering some sort of DoS attack?
