Anyone successfully transferred an ISA from Virgin Money to Zopa?

Zopa keep telling me Virgin "cannot find" the account despite all the details being correct, and the "sort code starts with" option is correct so it should be going to the right part of Virgin/Clydesdale.

I know Virgin Money are awful, but I am wondering if it is Zopa doing something wrong...

That's a bit worrying. I've just opened a new Virgin Fixed ISA and transferred 10k from my Virgin Easy Access ISA into it.

I'm now intending to open the Zopa Easy Access ISA and transfer in the remainder of my Virgin EA ISA.

I'm feeling a bit uneasy about it though after reading so many 'failure' posts. It would be very reassuring to hear a few success stories!
My Isa from Virgin to Zopa took 2 days - I was very impressed

So after 3 weeks of going round in circles with Zopa saying Virgin could not find my account, I gave up and opened a Cynergy ISA and using the exact same details I gave Zopa they have confirmed after only 2 days that Virgin have accepted the transfer and will send funds shortly.

So Zopa was the problem not Virgin.

I've just had a transfer from Nationwide to Zopa fail. After several chats and phone calls I've established that Nationwide won't send it because Zopa don't accept CHAPS payments or cheques. Why Nationwide won't send a faster payment I haven't yet found out, but Zopa claim to have had faster payments from Nationwide in the past. I'm not sure which to most annoyed with - Zopa for accepting such a limited range of payment methods, or Nationwide for just being obstructive and refusing to do the obvious and send a faster payment.

How much are you trying to transfer? Nationwide's Faster Payment limit is £25k. I know you're not actually initiating the transfer yourself but the limit may be baked into their systems hence their wish to use CHAPS.

I'd be cross with Zopa. CHAPS is a perfectly acceptable payment system and they aren't really a bank if they can't hande it.

I've started having problems with Zopa but the other way round - I'm trying to transfer away from them to Vanquis, but Vanquis have messaged me to say the request has been rejected due to ”Account Status Transfer Error”.
