Morning all. Hope you're all ok and Piggers man flu is easing.
It's very quiet on here. I finished my book yesterday, not my usual choice, it was about PTSD in war veterans. Very good.
So far this morning I have baked the shortbread base for millionaires shortbread. Still no slinky here then.Spend less now, work less later.8 -
morning all
just having my cvertical half hour and planning my day. A fine day is forecast so i plan to sand the final door of the landing cupboard and the two doors from the office, too. The rabbit hutch needs cleaning out so it looks like a busy day ahead. I have washing to peg out, too.
Hope Piggers is feeling better and that you are all well.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Morning all xx
I had my nose stook in a book for most of the afternoon and evening - only surfaced to watch The Big Show. Book is now finished and in the cs pile. Not my usual fare at all. Turned out to be zombies I suppose. If it had been a film I'd have turned it off but it was readable as a book.
I wish I had some of Valli's motivation. Says I sat in my nightie thinking about making a second brew. I have made my bed. And arranged to visit P & S tomorrow after meeting L at the posh farm shop cafe. Maybe a Round will help?
Round 1
Brew 2 and breakfast
Laundry shuffle
Get dressed
Feed the birds
Put out the recycling
Love to all

Morning all,
I filled the green bin yesterday afternoon. Good job done apparently, as today is damp and grey. No sign here of Valli’s lovely day.
Today I have a short list, mainly focussed around the kitchen and getting ahead for the week. Fridge / freezer being sorted atm, then broccoli soup to be made.
I too have had my nose in a book. Actually glued to a screen, which I really am not keen on, especially as I now have a “thick head” as my mum used to say. I much prefer a physical book, but e-books are the only way that I can get to the library. Hence always having at least 2 books on the go - at least one “real” one.
Have a lovely day all, whatever the weather near you nis doing. I hope Piggers is feeling better, and that ASB and YL are ok x7 -
well this is REALLY serious. I have foregone my morning shower. Breakfast scoffed. I’m wearing my Y6 leavers hoody because i can no longer wear it for work given i left school (got it when i went on the aisle of Wight residential) and am reluctant to throw it as it’s ideal for messy jobs. It’s the winter/outdoor equivalent of rolling up my sleeves.
Must remember to deliver/send mum’s meds
