Remember if you see it at a good price and its in stock you can get pcworld to price match it and give you 10% of the difference as well.... BTW they rarely add on the postage charge so you get it cheaper
they match items sold by Amazon.co.uk, Argos, Asda, B&Q, Comet, Dabs, Dell, Evesham Technology, Game, Gamestation, Halfords, HMV, Jessops, John Lewis, Maplin, Misco, Play, Staples, Tesco, Toys r Us, Virgin, Woolworths0 -
thanks sco0ter will try this tomorrow. Will i need to take confirmation of seeing it cheaper like a printout?
I presume this is in store?0 -
Yes its instore... just take a printout with the price and they will pricematch it .. you may have to ask for the 10% back as well but they gave me it no problem0

Do they price match with Dixons online? And do they take into account of promotional discounted prices? I'm only asking because they (Dixons online) have their devices priced real cheap at the moment.0 -

After reading this thread I wondered if anyone had bought this sat nav, or whether i would be better just buying the one that was on offer at £99
I need to buy a sat nav, PREFERABLY one with traffic alerts. Is this a good buy?

I am a bit dim when it comes to gadgets!! If I get one with traffic alerts, does it need to be compatible with my mobile? How do I find out which mobile you need to have?
TIA, sorry about all the questions!!
Caren
The traffic works from a radio signal not your mobile so don't worry about that. Its the same model as you posted but it comes with European maps, because of this it comes the Tomtom comes with a bigger internal memory which will be useful.0 -

A slightly better deal is the Tomtom western Europe with traffic for £155 from PCWorld in-store pickup here

Hiya
Is this with uptodate maps on there? Someone said I needed to check for this! It looks like a great deal!
Thanks for posting, much appreciated0 -
Im sure this one comes with the latest map guarantee so when you get it and connect it to the net it will download and install the new 7.10 maps0

Thats brilliant
Have ordered it, thank you everyone:T0 -
I have definitely seen it in Curry's with it written on the box about the latest maps guarantee. It doesn't say anything on the TOMTOM website about it but then again it doesn't say it about the 720 either but thats the one I got and it says it on the box and it does come with it.0
