£50 saver bonus paid today.
I think that is pretty much it now for switching for the foreseeable.1 -
Emailed received today. Switch completed 12 Feb.0

Just received an email from Co-Op advising I've met the savings bonus terms and they have paid me the £50. Will be emptying the account when it arrives as at 2.65% - it's fairly poor rate.
But, can anyone advise how you close the Online Saver? Is it a case of sending a secure message - can't see any options on either app or desktop unless it's hidden within the UI somewhere?Mortgage and debt free. Building up savings...1 -
Received my email earlier today and the £50 has now been paid3

The £50 landed in my Regular Saver pushing the balance up to £300. Can't wait to see how they handle the situation they have created themselves. But overall happy with the £150 and will keep it for the flexibility of the RS.E_zroda said:
Switched on 13th, e-mail received on the 15th advising to keep it until 29th. With my luck, it is a bank holiday ; hope this is automated. Will post info afterwardsThe_Green_Hornet said:
You should have received an email a couple of days after your switch completed informing you of your original £100 switch incentive bonus together with a date as to how long you have to keep your savings account open to be eligible for the £50 savings bonus payment.MABLE said:Mine completed on 12 feb when should I expect bonus please
I think my switch completed on the 12th, I received the email on the 14th informing me to keep my saving account open until the 28th March and I received the saving bonus today.

You have to send them a secure message from your online banking.financialbliss said:Just received an email from Co-Op advising I've met the savings bonus terms and they have paid me the £50. Will be emptying the account when it arrives as at 2.65% - it's fairly poor rate.

@E_zroda they did the same to me, then a week later removed not just the £50 but also my £250 from the RS and put it into my current account. They did not notify me in any way that they had done this.
I didn't think it was worth spending huge amounts of time on the phone arguing with them because they probably wouldn't understand the problems they have created themselves...... I therefore just moved £250 back into my RS, and withdrew the £50 from my current account. As of now, they haven't touched my RS balance again, so hopefully I have seen the end of their incompetence.
I don't know how their processes work, but if I were you, I would immediately remove £50 from the RS, before the month is out, so that your net contribution to the RS for March remains at £50.
