Well done, do make sure they don't charge the £24.75 express payment fee

Yes, thank you for the update. I'm glad to hear you had a positive outcome without having to actually drag it all the way to court

Good news and great read.
Once you receive the money, go back to them with another letter of complaint and ask for interest on them holding the money also.1 -
Well done.1

I’m still smiling about this and having a beer to celebrate with. Im not savvy at all with legal jargon so I'm proud of myself lol. I hope this might help someone else, well actually hopefully no one is in this situation but hey, stick it out! I come very close to just giving in, they actually emailed two weeks back saying they’d give me an extra £3300 on top of the 33k, and in all honesty that reassured me that their admitting their in the wrong. I come close to just saying ok, but then thought hang on your admitting failure and I declined, glad I did! Thanks again all.

Well done. I wonder if the person who re-evaluated the car is still employed by WBAC? Or has been retrained?
They don't buy "any car" either!0 -
It's having the courage to not to sell the winning hand for less that it was worth.Bmd1989 said:I’m still smiling about this and having a beer to celebrate with. WBAC couldn't win, the longer it went on for the bigger their loss, so at some point they were going to fold, it was a case of waiting till that happened (not everyone would have done that).
It's always great to see a victory chalked up to the good guys.
