    I Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.

happiness isn't achieved by getting extra things,
but by getting rid of the things that make you unhappy
  • @Geriatricmum gosh what a rollercoaster! So pleased that you have found another job, I think some wine is in order!
  • Frustrating about the redundancy, but such good news that you got something else quickly. Hope it works out more stable. How goes the house move?

We're in the thick of all the legal stuff right now but it's progressing. I started packing while I was redundant so the dining table is a mountain of boxes which my husband is ecstatic about!

We've book the movers - oh my lord how much has the cost of that gone up since our last move?!

We managed to get a cheaper fix for the car that had an issue and I'm still rolling around in that.

Just hoping for a stress free run up to the move now! Is that even possible 😭

Thanks, job is going well I think... It's a bit chaotic.

We've had notice from the developer that our home is delayed due to delivery dates of materials being pushed back, I don't know how flexible our buyer is, might need to move into a caravan or something for a couple of weeks.

Tired of having to chase our solicitor, managed to get him today and he's been sitting on a response from the buyers to our missives for two weeks! Due to complete the missives next week for Christ's sake.

Feels like we're living in limbo land.

Also trying to prevent our 21 month old from drawing all over the walls is fun!
  • Missives complete on our home today, later than the developer wanted but hey ho. It's official now!!! Got a provisional date of the 4th October for exchange day but that won't be confirmed for another week or two I imagine.

Buyers are lovely and are happy to wait until we agree a date with the developer.

Still not using my credit cards (woop) and with my new job my wage is better so I've even got a little bit of money left over after paying essentials, I went for lunch with an old friend today and it felt good not having to use the CC for it. Little wins!

Roll on October when our debts will be paid off and a clean slate is made 😀😀
