Initially it may mean extra saved until there is a buffer allowing for the facts the terms don’t exactly equate to quarterly. My simple brain would just prefer to stick £20 a month in all year round.
Think it's best I keep away from maths equations.
I'd see that as a bye bye gift and stick it in the EF.1 -

You are doing a great job, the budget is always hard and mine is a constant work in progress. Good idea to save the barclay one until you know what you have. Give yourself a huge pat on the back for not using the CC! That is just incredible!

Since starting this diary I have become alot more aware of where my money has gone and can honestly account for every penny. Quite pleased with that.
Thinking ahead we need to buy DS1 a new car seat soon as he's nearing the weight limit of his current one. I don't know how we can financially plan for these things while we have so little spare cash. Car seats are pricey!
In the past this would have been a credit card purchase.1 -
Do you have any local 'free; FB pages locally? I often see parents giving away car seats as they have to go up to the next size? Might be worth asking if anyone has one going?0
