Hope you're feeling better tomorrow and work isn't too bad.
Thanks I’m in clinics tomorrow but Thursdays are usually very busy so I’m not hopeful for a good day. I will just have to go in and then go home if I feel worse

It sounds horrible. I hope it clears up soon. Meanwhile - rest, fluids etc. The painting will wait if necessary.
I’ve certainly rested today and I don’t feel as bad as I did this morning. The headache isn’t as bad but my throat feels scratchy

Hope you feel better soon. You’re so unlucky picking up bugs but I suppose you come across a lot of people in your daily comings and goings.
I can understand you not wanting to get involved with another after being treated badly. Sounds like you made some good decisions re the house.

Thanks Milann. I think it’s a combination of my immune system being compromised because of the steroids and working with children 😊

Work was busy yesterday and I felt rough but did manage to get to the end of the day. It took me two hours to get home though which is ridiculous.

I am very happy to say I got my water bill yesterday and I am in credit for £179 so my new DD is for £17 a month. This is less than I have budgeted for and will even out the rent and council tax increase I think ( I haven’t worked it out ) I can now set my new budget and plan what I’m going to do this year.

I thought I was going to have to replace my phone at the weekend but it appears to be ok again now. It did have a 24 month warranty from CEX but I don’t think that covers the battery, I need to go and pull out the receipt and have a look. If I do end up replacing it I will look at another secondhand one but not from CEX I don’t think. DD2 bought my iPad from Game reconditioned and it’s been brilliant and has lasted me years, sadly our local one has closed down but there are other online shops that sell phones. I will keep this one going for as long as I can because I really like it and don’t want to spend money on another one 😀

I should have been meeting a friend for coffee today but I didn’t go because I don’t feel well enough. The silver lining is not spending money on Costalot 😀 I forgot that when I went last week I had earned a free drink so I upgrade to a larger drink 😀

I really should be going shopping today but I just don’t feel like it. I will have to go tomorrow though because I will need loo roll and cat milk. I have tidied everywhere and that’s about all I will be doing today. I have also put some washing on but that is easy peasy and can do its thing in the background.

I was also supposed to be going over to DD2s tomorrow to help finish her hall and then a trip to the Swedish emporium but I don’t think I’m going to be well enough to go which is sad as I was looking forward to meatballs and I was going to treat myself to a new loo brush 😀. I’m now off for 12 days as I’m using up some more AL so at least I haven’t got to go to work while feeling rubbish. I’m hoping I will turn a corner over the weekend so I can carry on with my plans next week. I need to be better by Tuesday because the heating people are coming back to do my radiators. I was also hoping for some dry weather while they are here so I can make a start on the garden

Perhaps split your time off between rest and activity? After all, you could do something creative while resting, and still have something to show for it. I hope you are feeling better soon, though.
