What sort of dog is B? My dog likes to get in the bath after me especially if I’ve used Molton Brown, she does like her Molton Brown, she’s a posh dog 🤣

I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

She's a Patterdale Terrier 😊maybe I should upgrade her bathing products. I always laugh when you say your dog got in the bath after you😂she's definitely posh 😂

I've always loved terriers 😊they have such characters. I did have a Yorkshire terrier years ago but he was a nasty tempered little thing and would regularly bite us. He was a rescue so I don't know what his history was but for a tiny dog he was very scarey. It makes me laugh when they say all these bull dogs are dangerous because the only dog I've been bitten but was my Yorky 😳

forgot to say I've always wanted a Jack Russell

I’ve read some good reports on the Smol products. Not tried them myself yet though.

They do seem popular.I wonder what they are like pricewise
Washing capsules are £5.80 for 24 capsules
You can get a starter pack which has all the different products in which is best if you want to try them

  • I use Smol dishwasher tablets at home. They are great.

I also use the multi spray and bathroom spray at work, however I did not like the glass cleaner. (I clean peoples houses)

The spray bottles are probably ok for normal domestic use, but they have not held up being used daily. So now I use empty bottles from other normal products which works well.

I like that they are delivered, easy to make up and I can change the frequency of delivery.

I haven't bothered with the washing tablets as I use  liquid as I can make it go further.

I can recommend Smol as well: I use the fragrance-free laundry tablets and the dishwasher tablets and both are fine for us. They are also cleverly packed so the box goes through the letter box. I get their fabric conditioner and it's okay though I admit to missing the scent of the one I used to use. However, as with all their packaging, it's well thought out so you can send the empties back and you aren't paying for things bulked out with water. They also have a nice option where you can donate a wash if you wish: it costs pence per purchase but is an opt-in so not compulsory.

I also use their multi-surfacer which seems to do the job. If left for five minutes it counts as a disinfectant, but I had to dig around on the website to find that information.

I get an email a few days before an order is going to ship, so I can change it if I still have plenty or need to bring an order forward.

The other products I get delivered are I think slightly more expensive than the High Street equivalents but last ages: that's Who Gives A Crap loo rolls, tissues and kitchen towel. The centres of the rolls are smaller than usual so you get a lot longer-lasting roll (they still fit on standard dispensers). I get the bamboo ones as I found the recycled ones weren't very sturdy. For my purposes, while I can afford them, I'll buy them as having them delivered makes life a lot easier and we store the boxes in the loft, just keeping a few handy in the bathroom. Again, that's via a website and you control your orders, and it's nice that the company supports building toilets in countries where not everyone has access to them: I think the statistics are that this increases life expectancy by around 20 years. And I've just had a look at their website and they have a 20% off introductory offer. :)

I use who gives a crap as well, it works out good value.  We do have the recycled one and it's fine for us.  A box lasts us a good 8 months. We'll never need to get involved in toilet paper wars again! :D

B is gorgeous.  We used to have a Patterdale/Jack Russell cross.  He was fab.  We lost him at 11, 7 years ago. We've still got a Border terrier, she's 11.

Not a good day today 😟I've been in lots of pain and my legs have been quite weak. I struggled to get up the stairs this morning 😟

I also went to see my mum and dad which was stressful . Dad was still in bed when I got there and mum said he wouldn't get up and said he was dying. I went up to talk to him and he was sitting on the edge of the bed but he told me he was having trouble breathing and thought he was dying but mim didn't believe him and wouldn't call the doctor. I went and told mum so she went up and I don't know what she said but he got up and come downstairs and was fine. I had made up my mind to call social services because mum wasn't listening to him but there was nothing wrong. He has trouble breathing anyway and I said to mum this makes it difficult because she won't know if he is genuinely ill. Mum is obviously struggling but I mentioned carers and she said no she would carry on. I don't think she realises how stressful it is for the family knowing she is caring for him on her own. It's so frustrating 😖😖
