I have read on these forums many times that the money often arrives before the official letters.2

That's great news about the payment!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1

Finally. So glad you have had some money.Onebrokelady said:Yay I have good news at last. I just logged into my bank account and there was far too much money in there so I checked and I’ve been paid some, some of it must be back pay because it’s too much for the normal payment. I haven’t had a letter or email telling me they were going to pay me or which group I’m in so I will wait and see if I get a letter or anything. It gets paid every two weeks so I will have to factor that into my budget and I’ll have to wait for the next payment before I find out exactly how much I’m being paid. What a relief now I can relax until my pension is sorted outOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8942 -
I didn’t realise they backdated it so it was a shock when I logged into my account 😀Sun_Addict said:Great news about the payment 🥳 Finally !! Mr SA waited ages for his PIP to come through but it was backdated so all good in the end.

I wasn’t sure if I would get the warm home discount but that would be helpfuldawnybabes said:That’s good you’ve got the money coming through. You should also get the warm home discount as well this winter.Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8942 -

Well I didn’t go out today because I was just too tired, I’ve got no energy to do anything at the moment 😟 I did get some washing done but apart from that I was asleep for half the day.My chest hasn’t been good today either, it’s felt really irritated but I don’t know why, it could be my deodorant, I’ve been using wild deodorant and the one I’ve got now is a cherry scented one that’s quite strong, it’s for sensitive skin but I’m not sure if the scent is irritating my chest. I’ve got a Mitchum roll on as well so will use that for a few days to see if that makes a difference ,it’s either that or my fibrosis has got worse for some reason🤷♀️ that doesn’t make sense though so I’m flummoxed 🙂 I tested my oxygen levels last night and they were the best they’ve ever been at 96% which is actually normal. I am hoping to find out about my lung function tests on Monday but I failed the gas exchange test that measures how much carbon dioxide you’ve got in your blood stream,I I hope I don’t have to do it again.
I’m definitely going to DD2s tomorrow even if I have to crawl there on my hands and knees, I’ve booked a train ticket as the train only takes ten minutes. I renewed my senior rail card today and decided to be modern and have a digital one, I needed a photo so had to take one there and then but my hair was sticking up all over the place 😀 I didn’t style it today because I wasn’t going anywhere, hopefully they won’t look too close 😀Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8943 -
That's good news on the 96%.
Have you tried a salt deodorant? You have to apply it to wet skin or wet the stick of salt (some special salt I think) and it's not an anti-perspirant but it's unscented and natural. Mine lasts ages more than ordinary deodorants so it's worth the cost (about £10 I think).
I admit I did my makeup and put on a flattering colour for mine - so it probably doesn't greatly resemble the everyday me. If anyone says anything about yours, you can reply 'Oh, I was a bit of a wild child when I was younger'. Doesn't matter how much younger.Onebrokelady said:I needed a photo so had to take one there and then but my hair was sticking up all over the place 😀 I didn’t style it today because I wasn’t going anywhere, hopefully they won’t look too close 😀
