I can remember what a difference they made to you when you took them before. So good to hear you sounding so much better 🙂I feel a lot better than I have for the last four months so I’m hopeful this will work .Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1203

Todays update
I woke up at nine today after a really good nights sleep which I haven’t had for ages. I do have a slight amount of pain in my shoulders and hands today but the shoulders might be because I slept so well. I’ve got carpal tunnel syndrome in my wrists so the steroids won’t help that but I can wear a splint which helps. It’s nothing lke as bad as it was last week though so that’s a relief and I’ve been doing a lot more so that will make a difference too. I forget that I still need to pace myself so need to be careful and not get carried away 😀
I went out for my Christmas lunch today with some workmates and that was really nice. It was good to catch up with people. One lady got on my nerves though as she said I didn’t look ill so I replied that not all illness are visible then my best friend said I had been very ill over the last four months so that shut her up. I told her you can cover up a multitude of sins with some good makeup and I can guarantee that if I wasn’t covered in it you would know I’m not at my best. This woman doesn’t work with us anymore but is part of our social group and shes always got something to say 🙄😀
I was going to take mayelf off for a look round the retail park that’s opposite the pub where we’d had our meal but the weather was awful and even though we were finished by 2.30 it actually looked dark outside so I didn’t bother and my friend gave me a lift home. I’m just chilling out now with the cat who has taken to sleeping on the back of my neck. I can’t remember if I posted that we had to have one of the cats put to sleep as well last month and I think this little cat is missing snuggling up to him, he’s become even more clingy than he was so he like my little shadow now. It’s quite nice having the cat round my neck though because he feels like one of those warmers you put in the microwave 😀
DD2 has her Christmas party tonight so I’ve said I will go and see her tomorrow if she hasn’t got a massive hangover 😀 then on Sunday I’m going to put my Christmas decorations up. DD2 would normally come and help me but I’m doing it on my own this year, I don’t mind but they might be a bit wonky 😀

It's great you are able to socialise again, and not be wiped out by it. I used to have a colleague rather like the one you mentioned - annoying, but at least you and your friend were able to make things clear.
I didn't know about the cat. I'm sorry. The other one has obviously adopted you as a surrogate feline, but you will miss those you don't have any more.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Plans changed today in the end. I got up on time to go over to DD2s but she didn’t wake up until 11am 😃she didn’t have a hangover but we were meant to be walking to a local cafe that’s opened up near where she lives but it shut at 1pm so I wouldn’t have got there in time . We decided not to see each other today but she is coming round tomorrow to help me do my Christmas decorations so that will be nice.
I then decided I fancied a curry for my tea but I didn’t have the ingredients so I went off into town to get some shopping and while I was there I picked up some Christmas treats, so I bought two boxes of Ferrero Roche ( one for my advent calendar and one for over Christmas ) anyway I paid and the total was £41.99 but after I scanned my nectar card the bill went down to £29 which was nice. I know the Ferreros were £5.50 each with card but I don’t know if anything else was on offer because I didn’t get a reciept . Anyway I then caught the bus home and halfway down the road I realised I’d forgotten to buy the Quorn chicken pieces for my curry so I couldn’t make it 😟I had Mac and cheese instead 😍😍
I had just got in the door when DD1 phoned to ask if I was at home so she popped round to pick up some books she wanted to read and had a cup of tea and a catch up, she was then taking the boys home to start doing their Christmas decorations.
I had a quick tidy up after they left and by then it was time to cook tea so a busy day in the end. I was going to do some knitting this evening but I felt tired so didn’t bother. I spent the evening watching my favourite you tubers putting up their decorations. I follow someone called Scandishhome and she is so creative, she also cooks all their meals from scratch ( three times a day 😳) the on top of that she is an artist, I love her videos 🙂
I’m supposed to be going to bed now to read my book, it’s a cozy murder story set at Christmas called Murder Under The Mistletoe and it was on kindle unlimited. I feel like I need to read something non taxing at the moment because my concentration isn’t at its best. Im having trouble getting to sleep because I’ve got too much going round in my head so reading is helping, im ok once I drift off but getting to sleep in the first place is a challenge at the moment

So plans changed again 😀DD2 woke up this morning feeling poorly with symptoms that could be the start of Norovirus so she didn’t come over because I am petrified of catching it as I have had it once before and was really ill and I don’t need that at the moment. I think she went back to bed in the end.I carried on and made a start on my Christmas decorations anyway because I really wanted to get them done this weekend. I have done the tree and the ornaments but I haven’t put the garlands up because that normally needs two people really. I’ve done them on my own before but to be honest I wasn’t sure I was going to bother this year so I might not use this them this time. I’ve spread things out a bit this year so there’s more bits in the kitchen. I need to do the hall but will do that another day. I also discovered there’s some bits missing so they must still be in the loft which means I’ve got to go back up there again 😩
I was supposed to have cottage pie for tea but forgot to get it out of the freezer so I’m not sure what I’m going to have now. I’m sure I can cobble something together.
I also have new neighbours moving in today. It looks like a young couple but I’m not sure about children yet. Hopefully they will be better than the last people, surely I’m due some nice neighbours now after the last two lots 🤞🙏🤞🙏Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1205 -
Your decorations sound lovely, @OBL. Sorry to hear your DD2 has gone down with a lergy. I completely agree with you re staying away from Noro as far as is humanly possible. We both went down with that one Easter & it was ghastly. I am very fussy about hand hygiene when I'm out & about, but I know that noro is the one which doctors say isn't vanquished by hand-gel, however high the alcohol content, so I am being fastidious about handwashing with plenty of soap. I am even considering carrying a small nice soap in my handbag for when ladies' loos have run out. Like you, I really don't want to catch that horrible bug again & Mr F was really quite poorly with it too.
